The last time I was here was about 12-15 years ago. The food back then was sub par. I am comparing this against San Diego and Los Angeles Mexican food.

I decided to try it again today. I ordered the pork burrito. It was alright. I had it with a cup of water. It was average.

Nestled in Davenport, WA, El Ranchito earns a solid 4 out of 5 stars in my book! This charming gem promises a delightful dining experience, striking the perfect balance between delicious food and warm hospitality.

Let’s talk about the food—oh, it’s good. Each dish presented a tantalizing blend of flavors, a testament to the authentic culinary expertise of the chefs. From the sizzling fajitas to the richly seasoned enchiladas, every bite was a savory delight. Whether you’re craving classic Mexican staples or adventurous enough to try their specialties, this restaurant delivers on taste and quality.

Service here is an absolute standout. The staff is incredibly friendly, adding a personal touch that elevates the entire meal. Their attentiveness and welcoming demeanor make every visit feel like a reunion among friends. It’s this kind of service that leaves a lasting impression and keeps patrons coming back for more.

Conveniently situated right off Hwy 2, El Ranchito’s location is a boon. Whether you’re a local resident seeking a go-to spot or a traveler passing through, the accessibility makes it a convenient stop for a satisfying meal.

Overall, El Ranchito in Davenport offers an inviting atmosphere, delicious fare, and a welcoming service that embodies the spirit of excellent dining. For those seeking a genuine taste of Mexico coupled with warm hospitality, this restaurant is a good choice. It’s an experience that leaves you with a contented smile and the desire to return for more flavorful memories.

We rolled in at 7:00 p.m. and it closed at 8:00 p.m. but there was a booth available for us. Service was very fast and the staff was very nice and helpful. There was plenty of parking and it’s on the main road so very easily accessible. The food was hot and portions were big but it was just so so as far as taste. It wasn’t horrible but I’ve had more that was much better. I had the chicken fajitas and hubby had the shredded beef chimi.

Food was pretty delicious. One of the few Mexican restaurants that actually have Modela Negra, had to get me two.

My grandma said her enchilada was delicious and my uncle had the carne asada just like I did. We all ate everything as we were hungry and we knew that this place would be a good place to stop and eat.

This is my fourth time eating there and the food is always consistent.

Friendly and courteous staff is alway a plus.

The food was excellent! Very clean environment. The service wait staff were not very attentive to us, as new customers. The male wait staff spent more time serving the locals, which is good for business, I understand that. That’s how restaurants survive and stay afloat, But being a new customer, and also a Google Star reviewer of restaurants. The male wait staff service should be attentive to all tables. There were only 3 tables at the time. We were never asked how our food was or our drinks refilled. We had to ask twice for more salsa. I might have even bought another margarita which was 23 dollars for the jumbo margarita . It was delicious ! The food was delicious thanks to the chef. Other than that, the food was a little over priced, but big portions. Unfortunately next time I’m driving through Davenport I will not be stopping at El Ranchito Mexican restaurant. I will drive all the way to La Presa Mexican restaurant instead. Sorry for the bad review ,but we felt unwelcome.

There isn’t much good food in this area, but this place hit the spot!
Food was really good (and I am kind of a picky eater). There was enough parking for our truck and 24ft trailer. AND the doggy was welcomed with a bowl of water on the shady patio. This place really surprised me. Best option between Lake Gilliet and Coulee City.
