Broadway shrimp has been in the Indiana harbor area forever. And its still been great! I particularly like the fried chicken there, nothing like Broadway Shrimp fried chicken w fries and hot sauce on the side. I had some last night and it was great as usual. Long live Broadway Shrimp! And the personall is always great!!

I had the chicken sandwich with fries and it was cooked perfectly. I’ve had a lot of disappointing chicken sandwiches over the years but this one was hands down one of the best I’ve had. And they gave me extra mayo on the side without even asking for it. They ain’t playin’ here. The chicken gizzards are also really good!

I was out in E. Chicago for business and stopped to try this local spot. Wednesday special; 1/2 lb perch, 1/2 lb shrimp, and fries. The side of pasta salad was tiny, maybe 3 fork fulls.
Everything was nicely fried and well seasoned. The shrimp were probably not jumbo but still pretty large. The mild sauce seemed like a combo of ketchup and sweet and sour sauce.
Next time I’ll do Spicy sauce, but will be back for more shrimp for sure.

Jumbo shrimp is theee best here. Don’t bother calling in your order. Its a small space with usually 2 workers who are constantly busy so there’s no time for phone orders. Get there walk in and order. 10 min wait (usually wait in the car) and out ya go with deliciousness!
