We used this business to cater desserts for our wedding and they were wonderful! Their desserts are beautiful and delicious! They were very accommodating when setting up tasting products as well. This review is overdue! My, now husband, and I were searching for a bakery for our wedding cake. We heard about Killa Bites through friends, whose kids had used Killa Bites for their wedding and loved it.
I contacted Killa Bites and talked to Khine, who was/is an absolute joy to work with! We ordered some “baby cake” samples that solidified our decision to use Killa Bites for our wedding. From the onset of placing our order to the day of our wedding, working with Khine and Killa Bites made the process so pleasant.
When we discussed the cake decorations, we did not have a specific theme. I was shown some lovely samples of decorations and allowed the creativity to flow – and it was just perfect!! Made with edible flowers (I will have to post some pics later). The day of delivery was spot on and the cake was so tenderly cared for.
We heard nothing but yummy comments about how tasty the cake was.

Killa Bites catered an adult birthday party for about 60 people in December 2023. Based on my conversations with Laura J, one of the principals, we advertised “upscale nibbles” and were very pleased with the quality, quantity, creativity and presentation of the food.
In addition to three appetizers from KB’s menu, Laura suggested “grazing platters” (which were not listed in the appetizer menus) which were composed of “chef’s choice” of seasonal and available fruits, cheeses (ours had wedges of brie, camembert, & others. No American or rubber-eraser “cheddar” either.), nuts, meats (included proscuitto), crackers and other delectables. Laura sent me a picture of a special board that KB did for an 85th birthday and I asked here to replicate it for the 70th celebration. A snap of our buffet is below.
A special part of KB’s business is the support of a work experience program for high school folks through Birds and Beans, a retail location that offers many of KB’s bakery items.
The advantage to a potential customer is that you can sample some cake flavors or other bakery item you are considering for your event. This is rather unheard of for a birthday cake, it seems. A snap of the birthday cake, and the birthday boy with the “blow out” cupcake, are also posted below. The cake was delicious and many guests were eager to take a piece home when I offered it.
Killa Bite’s staff was wonderful during the event and very attentive.

I MUST give a big shout out to Killabites for a beautiful and healthy display of light appetizers for a celebration of life event last weekend. C.O.L.s are often planned in a very short time frame and this was no different. Laura and Crystal worked with the family and delivered as promised in 3 days. They are friendly and offer wonderful customer service. I am so glad I stumbled on this fabulous catering business. I’ve used Killa Bites twice now and I have been thrilled with the service, the communication, the huge menu to choose from, and of course the beautiful and delicious food. Laura was great to work with and helped me figure out how much food I would need for my guests and had great suggestions. All her staff was professional, kind and easy to work with as well. I don’t know where she finds her chefs but they are amazing! I will definitely being using again at my next event. Highly recommend!

We ordered dessert for our wedding through Killa Bites. We ordered chocolate chip cookies, raspberry mini cheesecakes, brownie bites, sugar cookie bars, and a red velvet cake. Everything was delicious and we got many compliments on the dessert. Our photographer hasn’t finished our pictures yet otherwise I would have added some to show how beautifully they were done. Our favorite was the raspberry cheesecake. We’ll be a customer again for sure.

Killa bites catered my wedding and did the desserts for my rehearsal dinner. I cannot recommend them highly enough. If you live in the Portland/Vancouver area go with them to cater your event! I can’t tell you how many people came up to me after (and even during) the wedding raving about the food and the killa bites staff. Every dish from the main course of salmon, chicken or veggie lasagna options to the sides and the dessert were phenomenal. They made a special night even more memorable, and I am a foodie who appreciates good food 🙂
