Christine and Brittany are amazing. The food here is absolutely amazing. Best Reuben I have ever had in my life. Pierogis are the size of your hand and are the best I’ve ever had as well. Can’t say enough good things about this place. If I could come here more often I would. They even remember you 8 months apart from visits. Best hidden gem in Pittsburgh

Cute little dive bar with a small dining room in the back that has a cozy gas fireplace. On this particular Saturday night, they were hosting a songwriter invitational with two incredibly talented musicians playing. Excellent vibe and a mix of locals and people who came specifically to support the musicians (Uncle Al).
Food: Pierogies! Huge pillows of yum. Homemade noodles in the haluski! My grandmother didn’t even make her own noodles. Also, FULL WINGS! Excellent wings. The Polish platter is huge, and at $14, it’s enough food to feed an army.
Go for the pierogies and stay for the music. You won’t be disappointed.

Excellant food and sometimes live music. Last Friday,I came in late after the kitchen had just closed. I told the bartender I was starving while the owner was nearby. He said “I’ve got connections..ha! I’ll see what I can do.” I ordered their Polish Platter (pictured) which I have gotten before. He was kind enough to whip one up for me and it was great as usual. It’s huge and features 2 of their giant pierogies. I ended up getting 3 meals total out it! Highly recommended!

Classic diner atmosphere with dim lighting and a few locals only (on a weekday at lunch). Stuffed pepper soup came out first and was very good, just enough to hold us over. After ordering in a mostly-empty setting, I was a bit disappointed when the main food took 30+ minutes to come to the table from the kitchen, but that’s when I realized why it took the time it did: the portions were absolutely enormous and piping hot. The pierogies are no ordinary pierogies; instead they’re fist-sized pillows, stuffed with love and soaked in butter + onions. The fried chicken sandwich was enough for lunch and dinner, and the honey mustard was uniquely delicious. Prices for this sort of size and quality were shockingly good, and now I understand why it’s a local (and DDD) legend.

Hadn’t been here in 25 years since I live in Blawnox. Went recently while in the area and was blown away. Highly recommend the Diablo pasta. Also the thickest pierogies I I have ever seen. Delicious.

Our waitress was super sweet and did an amazing job! The pierogi were huge and delicious! You get haluski on the Polish plater and the noodles were homemade. It was so good!

Definitely a dive-ish vibe, but no issue there for us. Menu was great, food great, service great The pierogi each are the size of like 3 regular pierogi, so plan accordingly when ordering. We had stuffed banana peps for an appetizer. Excellent flavor, especially the sausage and sauce. We ordered various items around the table and no complaints by anyone. The only negative was wondering why the heck we never stopped here before, and thinking of all of those missed opportunities for good food.

Has a neighborhood bar feel. 4 or 5 beers on tap, mainly domestic beers. It’s not fancy, but the folks are friendly and the food is delicious. Stuffed Hungarian peppers were the best I’ve ever had and the sausage in them was perfect italian style, covered in tomato sauceand cheese. The pierogies are super oversized, grilled, and covered in butter and grilled onions. Try the jalapeño stuffed ones. The polish platter is spectacular. Polish sausage, 2 pierogies, halushki, and saurkraut. Every bite was delicious. Highest recommendation that I can give for a homey neighborhood bar.
