this place is AMAZING. every time i go the employees are so kind and fun, i feel very comfortable here. i’ve been a bunch of times and always try something new, and im genuinly never disappointed. tikka shack is so welcoming. the woman with the brown hair with blond dyed in front is so kind thank you so much!! highly recommend this tikka shack! don’t forget to grab ur free froyo before you leave!

I do adore their modern industrial design with airy spacious seats available and high ceilings.
The light color table top is quite clean making me feel warm to dine in here. I also fancy their mural wall.
They do offer a self-service drinking station unlimited. Very neat.

For a “fast food” Indian place this spot is good. Lots of choices and options. Chicken, beef, lamb for protein choices and they have vegetarian options. They have some salads and naan bread wraps (one is pictured). The atmosphere is ok, but not Indian atmosphere more like a chipotle vibe…service was friendly and food was good, not the best Indian I have ever had, but definitely not the worst….very good for Indian “grub”….we will return

These days I like to order pick up instead of dining in or walking in and waiting. Their posted menu is off. They need to post photos of their new menu because when I just called to order off the posted menu the lady thought I was speaking indian at her and tried to offer me things completely out of the ballpark from what I was asking for based off the posted online menu. Lame experience. I dont want to walk into the establishment to place an order.

The Authentic Empress
So far my favorite restaurant here in Lubbock . Never experienced anything like it and I am a curry fanatic ! I absolutely love curry and the flavor profiles of what I’ve had so far have never been short of amazing . Great portions . Nearly about 2-3 servings for me in one curry dish . I love the Masala fries also but so far my favorite curry dishes are the Aloo Saag, (which is what is photographed here) , and the Goan Vindaloo. I always get the garlic naan opposed to original . I love their point system cause I usually get my garlic naan free with my points . I definitely planned to try other dishes , and have but these are simply my favorites. I love the atmosphere, the music , the team , the complimentary peppermints , and the beautiful plants inside . This location (Texas tech) I prefer over the other . The chefs are fantastic ! These are very intentional recipes down to the basmati rice style which is quite unique . These ppl know their herbs and seasons very well . And the textures are wonderful . I cook too so i am very flavor aware and tend to be very selective with my preferences . Sure to get you full and have some for later . Very colorful menu and wholesome personalities ! 5 stars !

So I had the Masala fries and you can never go wrong with them the consistency is always there. I wanted to try something new, so I got their pizza and added steak and let me tell it was probably one of the best combinations iv had from the chain the Naan was so fresh and good with thr tomatoes this is a definite must try.

I won’t complain about the food, it was okay. However, I tried the biriyani, quantity, and amount of meat were worth the price, but it seemed to be dry and lack of spice. If you expect authentic indian or south asian taste, you won’t get it perfectly, but they try their way. Atmosphere was great!

Absolutely loved this food. Been waiting months to finally try butter chicken and they did not disappoint! Even we’re sweet enough to throw in some extra garlic naan. Had it ready in 10 minutes!! The staff was sweet and a beautiful restaurant!
