I’ve grown up going to the Quaker Steak in Sharon. My daughter and I were out for a shopping date and decided to treat ourselves to dinner in November.
I’d say we arrived a little after 6pm, maybe 6:15pm. We waited longer than we should have to even get acknowledged & have our beverage order taken.
We ordered our food at 6:24pm, and at 7:05pm were still waiting for our food to arrive at our table.
7:10pm our food finally arrives at our table. My daughters steak dinner was okay. I got the boneless chicken tenders that I’ve always loved and are my go to. Sadly, they were disgusting and rubbery. I attempted to eat one of the tenders, and the rest were still sitting on my plate when the waitress took our dirty dishes and didn’t even ask why the main course of the meal was barely touched.
And just to say: they were NOT BUSY! In fact, there were maybe 15 people at tables. I took photos of all the empty tables because it was mind blowing to me how slow/lack luster the service was for the amount of paying customers that were actually there at this time.
Our bill was probably $50.00 once you added beverages & tax.
I don’t think we will be returning to this one.

I’m usually a boneless wing guy but I got the bone-in this time and they were awesome! Arizona ranch is a great sauce. Brooke is a great server. Love this place.

The Boardman location is always a great atmosphere and friendly staff. They have specials and the food is always so nice and hot when getting wings or anything there. Lots of gluten free options especailly because I can have the bone in wings and fries.

Underwhelming, but not entirely awful. The side salad was impressive, but our Lube Chips appetizer came after our entrees and was cold by the time we got around to picking at it. Staff acted like that was normal and didn’t offer to take it off our check, even though we didn’t really eat any of it. Steak was over cooked and tasted burnt, but the wings were really pretty good and the Mac N Cheese was decent. Water tastes funny, but that’s probably more of a local thing than anything to do with the restaurant. I wouldn’t actively recommend eating here, but I’d probably try it again.

The atmosphere is great and the service was very good. The food on the other hand was average. Nothing to write home about. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and fries. The sandwich doesn’t come with any sauce but the menu says you can “lube” it up with any of their sauces for $1 more

Here in boardman their Soda is 3.99 meanwhile in Salem it’s 2.99.
The top Gear tender salad at Salem you get three (small) but still three breaded tenders.

Jamal was such a sweetheart he made my husband and I feel very welcomed today. just wanted to take the time to show our appreciation for him and for making us laugh we visit the austintown location frequently but decided to stop in after doing some shopping and had one of the best experiences thank you so much
