Very pleasant staff and cook will come out and discuss various dishes on or off the menu and make changes to suit your tastes. Comfortable seating and clean restrooms. Staff is attentive and checks for drink and chip refills. Great menu and fresh, tasty food. Try it, you will come back often.

Had a pretty good meal here today. It’s not as good as other Mexican restaurants I frequent but not bad. Great spot with plenty of seating for large parties. Outside is dog friendly, which is a big plus. Our waitress was nice and the place was clean. The price to portion was not great, but the food is tasty. The hot salsa is great, and the jalapeno margarita was on point! If you’re in the area, stop by and see what you think.

TL;DR: Only Mexican restaurants in Crozet but they do not let down. Food is excellent. Chips are fresh and can easily fill you up if you’re not careful.

Specific Foods:
Burrito Jalisco: 9.2/10
Vegetable Quesadilla: 8.6/10

General Wait Time for 1/2 dishes: 20-30 minutes

General Comments: Waitress was very nice but didn’t come to our table often enough.

I ordered Combination #8, which contained a chicken tamale and ground beef enchilada. (Be sure to specify the type meat you want. You may have choices.) I also ordered a side of lettuce, tomato, and guacamole. Plus, I took sour cream and salsa from my husband’s plate.

This was the best Mexican food I’ve ever eaten. Plus, the atmosphere was clean and absolutely beautiful. The workers were friendly and helpful. We will definitely visit this restaurant again every time we are in the area.

We go here weekly and have never been disappointed. Even when they are surprised and slammed midweek, they are always prompt and courteous. Love this place! Get the Junior Grilled Shrimp appetizer, along with a side of refried beans, then add grilled jalapeños into the beans. Delicious, and healthy! Don’t forget a large Dos Equis on tap!

I would love to have given this place 4 stars because most of the food tasted really good. The mole chicken enchilada was fantastic.

However we ordered food to go and they messed up two parts of our order. We got just one cheese enchilada on an order of 3, and gave us tostadas instead of chili con queso.

Also, the food was cold (ate it 3 minutes after it being handed to me).

The place looked really nice inside. Maybe we will give it another shot when we can order in.

I love supporting local restaurants but with this place I just can’t. I came here with my family and went to use the restroom. As I was washing my hands one of the cooks flushed the toilet and walked right out the door. When our tacos came out they were all wrong. Never again will I go here.

I’m honestly disappointed in all the reviewers who left glowing reviews. I trusted you!

This was the most disappointing food experience we have had in Virginia. I’m not sure if our server forgot about us or what, but it took over 10 minutes to get 2 waters and a jarritos soda. We stuck it out and ordered lunch – it was ~1pm on a Sunday, and the place was mostly empty. When the food arrived about 30 minutes later, it was perfectly eh. Honestly, pick up some frozen food from your local grocery store and add cheese on top, and you will experience the same level of culinary experience. It might even be better if you spring for the more expensive brand of frozen food. The chilaquiles were a soggy mess, the enchiladas weren’t even warm, and the Agua de jaimaica was syrupy sweet.

If you’re in the area and looking for food that isn’t the quality of canned dog food, check out Fiesta Azteca. Truly not even comparable to this place.
