This restaurant is absolutely amazing! The food is fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish we tried was delicious, from the sushi to the hot entrées. Portions are generous and presentation is beautiful.

Always a line out the door for takeout with the foyer so congested you can’t even walk in the door. This has been a problem every single time for years with wait times for takeout being mostly 30-60 minutes beyond what they tell you.
People value their time and this place just disregards everyone’s time and continues giving bad information time and time again.
They are very nice and apologetic each time but neglect to ever fix the problem.
If the food takes 40 minutes instead of 20 minutes that’s totally fine. Just provide the correct info ahead of time.
Clearly this isn’t only me as the foyer would not be 10-15 people deep waiting each time if the process was correct.

I will no longer go to tokyo mandarin. It used to be good. I believe the ownership may have changed. I am not sure. I placed a takeout order. It was supposed to take 35 to 40 minutes. I came in and it was I had to wait over an hour and still didn’t receive the food. The owner or manager was very rude. If they can’t handle the business then they shouldn’t be open. There are much better choices Fai’s very good in seaville

A Sinphony of sushi flavor. The rolls were a bit on the pricey side but came out amazing and had plenty of fish. We got the Pete’s special, November roll, Xmas roll and Rainbow roll…in retrospect we could’ve gotten just 3 rolls for 2 people.

They give you a timeframe to pickup take out in and then never, ever, ever, are anywhere close to the timeframe given.
Show up 5 mins after it should have been ready and walk into a foyer full of people all waiting for their food also.
Learn to get your timing right or close your doors. Your take out process is a waste of peoples valuable time.
