Can’t say much about the food as only had an appetizer which was good. We had already eaten before we went. Our friend we met hadn’t had anything to eat so we accompanied him. His food looked good. The thing that stood out was how nice the staff was. We were so engrossed in our conversation we didn’t realize that they had closed. They went about their work cleaning up and even asked if we needed anything. They let us sit and talk. When we noticed they had closed and were cleaning up we apologized and left. They were so sweet and smiled saying it’s ok you didn’t bother us. From the our arrival to our departure the staff was friendly, polite and always smiling. Definitely made us want to come back to try the food next time we are down that way.

The food is still as good as i remember it, but … the place isnt near as good as childhood days.
Portions arent the same, and, while the food is still tasty, you can tell the new crew tries their best despite different management.
Call it rose tinted glasses or nostalgia, but im fat enough to know when food ain’t the same.
I rewrote my review because it seemed like i was blaming my waitress, when in fact she was the best part of the experience. Everything i had a problem with isnt within the servers control.

We visited today and ordered two hamburgers and the Sunday special. The staff was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and eager to assist. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend!
