Adorable place downtown, with food and service that match the great ambiance. There’s toys for kids, corn hole, tables with umbrellas, without umbrellas, indoor seating, and bar stools. You have a big variety. And the menu is incredibly delicious. Everything we tried was so good. The fries especially – and one order is huge so plenty for two to share and have some left! Patty melt was divine and Reuben excellent. It came out a little slowly but it wasn’t a bad wait.

Stopped in Atascadero for a quick brunch on the way to Disney. First impressions were good. A nice outdoor patio area and the inner dining area was a quaint and had a nice vibe.
Lots of great choices to choose from.
The sandwich we ordered was a bit heavy on the mustard, but delicious nonetheless. We also ordered some tenders for the rugrats. Also, a side of coleslaw. Total came to $31.38 before tip. Kind of stiff. Far too expensive for this family.

Another cool spot. Good food and decent beer selection. Lots of outdoor seating. The majority of the seating is outside picnic tables. Service was good but you just place your order at the counter so no table side service. Staff were friendly. Lots of families.

Nice outdoor, shaded picnic tables. For some reason there always seem to be flies inside the ordering area. Would love for this place to be excellent but since the restaurant group took ownership food isn’t great. Sandwiches were just okay – recommend building your own to customize bread and flavors, because the board sand is are meh. French roll looks like the best option. Gf bread bun was chalky. Sides weren’t great – slaw was watery and flavorless (except for too much jalapeño) and French fries were cold. Took 45 minutes from ordering to get 4 sandwiches, nice staff but pretty slow service. If you’re ordering ahead or picking up for a large group they need at least 60+ min. Seems like a fine lunchtime spot if you’re in town already and have plenty of time. Fair selection of local brew and outdoor game area for families.

Such a great little place. Fresh food, reasonably priced, and good flavors. This time we got the chicken burger, fries, and a turkey sandwich. Never gone here and been disappointed with a meal.

Only been once but shared two sandwiches with my partner and they were both fabulous. We had a hard time deciding what to order because every single sandwich sounded interesting. If I lived in Atascadero I would try every one on the menu! I thought the prices were pretty reasonable for the quality and quantity, given what prices are these days.

Food quality has definitely gone downhill since whatever corporation took them over but I guess that’s how things go these days! Paid $15 for the figgy, which was supposed to be on their Dutch crunch but came on a hoagie roll instead probably because they ran out of the other, which seems to happen often (not sure why they don’t carry more stock since they know this is popular!). Hardly any meat or cheese on it so basically just tasted like fig jam. Was a regular customer but now not sure I will be back.

Downtown, easy free onsite parking, quick/easy on/off from hwy 101. A few counter seats & tables inside, most of the seating is outside with patio tables/chairs & umbrellas. Order your food at the counter. Service was dismal, waited 5 or 10 minutes for some help, finally walked into the backroom kitchen to get someone’s attention. Tried two sandwiches, their tuna sandwich & turkey sandwich, the sandwich bread is basic, the size of the sandwich is fair, the turkey was good the tuna was a definite miss. The bakery sandwich across the street or even Mr. Pickle down the street is a better choice.

Outstanding food! I had the pastrami sando and it was huge! Nice tap selection for beer, the Founder’s Breakfast Stout was outstanding as usual. Wife had a salad that was equally huge.

I love this place! The best thing about it is the people. They make you feel like they’ve known you forever. Their selection of coffee drinks are very comparable to any coffee house. Their beer is ice cold and goes so well with their sandwiches. Their sandwiches are so delicious. I have tried 5 different 1s and I have no complaints. But my favorites are the Kluck and the Cubano. If you’re a fan of Cubanos, this 1 is the best I’ve ever had. Once you try it and come back, ask for The Cubano “John” style. OMG…that sandwich is amazing. It’s with the jalapeño coleslaw and BBQ sauce. But OMG the their cluck comes in 3 different styles and the “sweet kluck” in my faovrite and get it with a fried egg and grilled onions on it. Its a great “breakfast” sandwich. Soooo Yummy!
