Dance floor is a bit smaller than usual for a country bar, age group was of a younger crowd than mixed ages. Food was a little higher priced than normal for a bar, and the way she flip over the machine for tip was very demanding. I believe it started at 18% and we had just a 2 person dinner, (sandwiches), there was an option for custom tho. Presentation for the food was a 5/5 and the tray was classic look. No cover charge for the night we went, was a plus and wished they had a live band on a Friday or Saturday.
I would say a 3.5/5
(minus 1 for the food prices, minus 1/2 for the Atmosphere/bartenders.)

Would I come back is the question?
And the answer is, Yes I would.
It felt Safe, and enjoyable.
Great Job Cross-Eyed Cricket keep up the Good work.

Update 5/2022. Still awesome

A great place for food, drinks, and fun. Went for lunch and was surprised by the 3 menu styles offered. Well lit and family friendly till 8. A mix of country bar flair, with non hipster local vibe too. Food was fresh prepared and entire space was clean throughout. Service was friendly and fast. Full bar, poker, pool tables. Overall great local spot that I’ll be returning too.

If you are looking for a country bar in the Bend area, this is the place. There’s plenty of dancing on a good sized floor for country swing and line dancing. It’s a younger energy and there are plenty of regulars you’ll recognize if you come back again.

Service can be spotty. When it’s less busy you can get table service, which is nice. Later in the evening, as it gets busy, they force you to wait in longer lines at the bar for anything you want to order (food and drink). I also feel like there is favoritism by the bar staff for servicing folks they recognize before others. But that probably happens everywhere to some extent. Just know that’s the environment you’re walking into and you’ll have a great time…if you can find a place to park.

We were visiting the Bend area and were really looking forward to dancing to country music but very little was played. It was disappointing. The food was awesome, all of the food our table had was great. But there was not much two stepping going on but they line dance to everything, pretty amusing.

Finally! I find a place in Bend that makes BBQ brisket worthy of the best in Texas. And have a side of Tallow Fries.

This review is for the owners. We came from out of town tonight (Thursday 9/4) for the swing/line dance lessons. Got her early for drinks and yummy food! A football game was playing, no biggie. Dance lessons didn’t start till 7. There were maybe 6-8 people paying attention to the game as the place started filling up for the dancing. But the football game (on a big screen being the dance floor) kept playing. The game was also being played on the bar tv’s. Finally at 7:50 we were told the swing dancing had been canceled. The game went to weather delay during this time as well. It was a huge let down as we planned our evening out fun out of town

Saw a story in the local news about them and figured, hell let’s give em a shot.

Server was very friendly and gave suggestions for what to try.

Everything was flavorful, and portion sizes were just right.

Great little spot. Family friendly (before 8 PM). The outdoor area was great to hang out with little kids — they had corn hole. And the food was great. We got fried chicken, jojos and a burger. Staff were friendly as well. They created a welcoming environment/ relaxed atmosphere. Definitely worth the visit. We will definitely be eating there again next time we are in the Bend area.
