Lovely restaurant with good food — the mussels were outstanding!
We had a small mix-up with our pasta order. We asked for the one with sausage without paying close attention to the specific pasta shape/type. When the dish arrived, it didn’t look as expected, and after poking around a bit (searching for the sausage lol), we realized it was the wrong order. It turned out to be a thin pasta with vegetables — not really our taste, but it was okish. Since we had already touched it and the wait times are quite long (about 30 minutes for starters), we decided not to send it back. So just be careful with what you order vs what arrives to your table.
Just a heads-up: the food is good, but service is slow, likely due to limited staff (it was a weekday). That said, we weren’t in a rush, so it worked out fine for us. Prices are good for the quality/portions they offer.

Ziraldo’s absolutely blew me away! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and things only got better from there. The food was incredible — every dish was fresh, rich with authentic Italian flavour, and beautifully presented. You can truly taste the care and passion that goes into every plate. Crab dip 10/10, grilled calamari and fried, not sure which was better! Their arancini, absolutely delicious, I could go on! Not a single issue for flavour and quality!
Despite being a full house, the service was unbelievably speedy and attentive. The staff handled the busy night with effortless professionalism, making sure we always had what we needed without ever waiting or asking. Drinks were ordered before finishing leaving you no wait time for your second or third and not feeling rushed either.
And I have to mention the bathrooms — genuinely the cleanest I’ve ever seen in a restaurant (especially during a full house during dinner) which says a lot about the pride they take in every part of their establishment.
Ziraldo’s is a gem. If you’re looking for exceptional Italian food, top-tier service, and meticulous cleanliness, this is the place.

WOW JUST WOW!!!
Being Italian I was never brought up to go out to a restaurant to have pasta but this place really and I mean REALLY impressed me.
From the appetizer to the two types of pasta and dessert everything was perfect!!
The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about what food was being served, I want to give our server Tracey(pic) a special thank-you for your warm and genuine/customer service and wonderful conversation and you made our first time at Ziraldo’s a pleasurable dining experience.
The dinner music was great and the dining room was warm and inviting.
Ok and now a shoutout to Chef Shannon, your dishes were absolutely delicious and full of flavour and the pasta was cooked to perfection just like my Nonna would make…the bruschetta was like uhhhhh this is unbelievable…the tiramisu was spectacular to finish the meal…I was very impressed and I encourage everyone to try Ziraldo’s when you’re in the Fenelon Falls area, keep up the great work and see you soon.

Always my favourite go to in downtown fenelon falls.
From the service, the food, the atmosphere where else would you go????
I can always rely on ziraldos management and chefs to exceed expectations for events, a special night out, or a quick lunch to curve pesky pregnancy cravings mid day…. (Capellini Alfredo is just it you know)
I’ve held my bridal shower, baby shower, birthday party here over the years with friends and family coming from various locations and enjoy the fantastic apps, delicious drinks and filling meals.
It makes me sad to see these one star reviews complaining about wait time and mediocre food when it’s always been the complete opposite. Fenelon falls has grown considerably in the summer in the last ten years and this isn’t king street downtown Toronto- it’s a small family owned restaurant and on busy nights (because this is the only go to fine dining establishments that’s not a pub lol) things take time, seating takes time. This isn’t east side Mario’s.
Ziraldos has teen a staple in fenelon falls, and owned and operated by a wonderful family.
Come here and eat and you won’t be disappointed

Went there for dinner with my husband. The waitress was a great young girl very friendly. I ordered some angel pasta with shrimps no so great it was missing taste, my husband ordered I believe a seafood pasta, his was good. He really enjoyed and we ordered the mussels, we would not order them again they were also missing the taste that make you want to eat them again. I will go again and try something else.
