There was a mix up with the waiter, putting down PENNE all’ARRABBIATA instead of the PENNE all’AMATRICIANA, but the owner took care of it with no fuss, really appreciated and respect the service provided. We also had the Bruschetta and Tiramisu. Both really good!
I’d come back again!
I preferred the veg options rather than the non vegetarian one!
Usually crowded place so expect to wait a little longer
Definitely worth the wait at the end of the day
One hiccup is to keep the music slightly low so people can chat easily
Don’t forget to try there authentic and heavenly Tiramisu.
The pizza is genuinely excellent, fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. But what really makes this place special is the vibe. It’s relaxed, warm, and welcoming, the kind of spot where you instantly feel comfortable and want to stay a little longer.
There’s a great energy to La Marinara, good music, good people, and a real soul behind what they do. You can tell it’s run with care and passion, not just about food but about creating a place people enjoy being in.
Consistently good food, a great atmosphere, and an authentic, feel-good experience. Highly recommended if you’re in Mauritius and looking for pizza done right. ✨
It’s warm, it’s jovial, it’s what the heart seeks.
Next to a bustling street corner, this restaurant brings italy home.
The star of my evening was their tagliatelle. Silky, yet subtle. A harmonious blend of tomato, octopus and herbs clinging on each strand.
I watched with delight while the cook tosses his homemade pasta in the pan.
What truly sets this place apart isn’t just the food; it’s the warmth that surrounds every corner. The owner and his friend will stop by to ensure the dish meets his standards.
The dinning room has space to host only around 15 people, therefore come prepared. They offer take away service from the local delivery shops.
If you are looking for an experience that will warm your belly and your soul, this gem is absolutely worth discovering.
