A phenomenal authentic Italian restaurant that offers a variety of dishes for a competitve price. Their pizzas are made in a wood fired oven which is visible from the seating area.
The restaurant has limited seating but their service is excellent. Even though they were extremely busy, we were able to get seated at the bar and be treated with top-notch service by the bar tenders.
The prices are competitive to downtown Milwaukee prices.
Parking is difficult so this restaurant is best visited by walking.

I tried San Giorgio on a busy Saturday night with a friend. Would definitely recommend a reservation on the weekend! The arancini were delicious, but I would recommend grabbing two portions if you have four or more people. We got the Margherita & calabrese pizzas (pictured; I was too excited & couldn’t wait to try it) – both were massive and gave us leftovers. Our server was so enthusiastic & had tons of knowledge on the menu. It was challenging to talk at some points due to the noise level, but that’s to be expected when dining on a busy evening. Looking forward to returning & hopefully snagging a seat at the pizza counter!

One of the very best meals I’ve had since coming to Wisconsin. We ordered the gnochetti (exquisite), a margherita pizza, and the doppio calabrese… absolutely stunning. Perfect chew to the crust, and the pizza toppings were all incredible. Super friendly server as well. Absolutely recommend!

How have I not found this gem of a restaurant until now?! Absolutely incredible Neopolitan style pizza. It was fun to sit next to the pizza oven and watch them make the pizzas. They even have seats surrounding it as well. We had a couple drink cocktails which were delicious. The meatball appetizer was just as incredible as the pizza. I would like to every order single pizza off the menu. The service was also very friendly and we loved our server who was very personable with us!

Excellent food. The Aperol Spritz tasted a bit like a Wisconsin Old Fashioned. The Bolognese was very good. The pizza is clearly the star of the show, though. The server was very friendly and very well trained. My only complaint is that it’s very pricey.

I strolled across the street from my hotel after hearing nothing but good things about this place. I decided to sit at the bar and was pleased with my choice. All the servers were very friendly and attentive. For a starter I ordered the olive misti because I love olives. I mean who doesn’t love olives?It was time to order my pizza and after struggling to decide on which one, I wanted, I finally went with the Maria Carmella. It was an excellent choice. The dough was light and airy and all the topping were fantastic. Not much beats a wood fired pizza when it comes to taste. The only problem I can think of is I live so far away and will not be back for a long time.

Incredible flavor in every bite. We had to wait like for 45 minutes to be seated but at the end it worth! I the sauce, the crust exquisite. Also the service was very kind and fast after all the time we had to wait. Thank you!
