Not the same anymore. Food doesn’t have any flavor. Steak is a cheap cut. Burritos are watery due to watery salsa and tomatoes. Had to spruce it up at home had to squeeze out liquid. $21 for this. You’re better off going to a taco truck tbh! I’ve lived in Oakland for years and this ain’t it.

They always have good food but they’ve got a lot more expensive than they used to be. Parking is a hit or miss depending on what time of the day you come. They still have the best chicken nachos in the town to me. They serve Seafood as well as Mexican food. Service is usually pretty quick but if you can call in your order first because they get busy fast. Places usually clean. Very limited seating so most people eat to go. The best Las Palmas in Oakland.

I love this place. The sell fish as well as burritos. This is one of the few, if only, restaurants that has ground beef as a meat choice. They also use cheddar cheese instead of mozzarella.

I got a steak burrito, this has to be one of the most bland burritos I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I looked forward to every bite of sour cream to get any kind of flavor. The steak was also very fatty which doesn’t taste good in a burrito. Would not return. It also gave me insane gas and diarrhea

This place many years ago used to be decent. While visiting my hometown Oakland I had a taste for a prawn burrito. This was by far the driest burrito with no flavor/seasoning whatsoever. Barely any sour cream and salsa. I was so disappointed especially paying $16. On top of that the cashier said the super has extra everything which wasn’t the truth. Was not worth it and it was small not portioned as a super. I asked for the prawns to be well done and they weren’t. They were cooked but could had been cooked longer. I can’t stand when ppl rush my order. Guess next time I visit Oakland I will go back to Las Palmas on Fruitvale off E27th the 1st location that always tasted better anyways. Hopefully they are still good.

First of all the people that were in there getting food talked to me about how great it is before I could even order. I was excited. I ordered a Super Burrito with ground beef and everything. I also ordered a taco. When I saw how many ingredients were piled up on that taco and saw how the only way he could close that taco was to envelope it in aluminum foil I was amazed. But then when I picked up my bag containing one burrito and one taco I swear it was a couple of pounds! The burrito was huge! And delicious! And the person taking my order and the person making the orders were very pleasant. I will definitely be back many times.

Love the catfish! Its freshly made and seasoned well. Get the large for 20 dollars it easily feed 3 people. All of there seafood is good. They offer fried filet sole, catfish and prawns you can get a combination of prawns and fish if you want both. The super burritos are huge at least 2 meals.
