Best food court food (from the best Mexican restaurant in UT) you’ll find in downtown SLC. Limited menu, but nice lunch specials including tamales and mole enchiladas, as well as the regular lineup of tacos and burritos, etc. Reliable takeout.

The best mall food court meal you could have. The chips and salsa are identical to the main Red Iguana locations. As is the rice and beans. My mole Verde enchilada was great. I’d go here again.

We’ve been wanting to try out the red iguana for awhile so when we saw the taste of in the food court we had to give it a shot. We had nachos, smothered chicken burrito and enchiladas. All we’re fantastic and no one left hungry. Looking forward to trying more of their menu either at the taste of, or one of their restaurants.

Yet it absolutely does not stop the red iguana crew from always pulling off one of the best mexican meals I will eat, each time.
Huge portions, beautiful to look at, and absolutely delicious. Fabulous service, as well.

I have always loved stopping here for lunch while working downtown. Staff is always friendly and food is always fresh. I enjoy the daily special, and the chips and salsa always hit the spot.

$20 for a type of fajitas for kids size. I don’t agree with the pricing for what we got. Steak pico and guacamole in a very small portion. Taste is good but $50 and not be full is kind of not okay. Service was great but I wish they could correct when you order that what I am ordering doesn’t include some stuff I wanted steak rice and beans and the cashier never corrected the info

nice little add that they give you chips and salsa but after paying $10 for a burrito it kind of evens out.
I am not mexican, but we all know that burritos are wrapped, even the emoji for it ( ) but it was not wraped and that is just too bad for a mexican place it was like eating a broken fancy hot pocket but anyways, tasted like heaven, the salsa was not as good but the burrito flavor was money. just wrap it up next time, when I went to grab it I literally got my hands dirty with food because it wasn’t closed ♂️

Value of the food was great. I shared the chimichanga with a friend and I was full. It included beans, rice, chips and salsa. I couldn’t eat more.
The reason for the low score was that the food was not properly seasoned. With a bit more spices, I would have scored it a 4, maybe even a 5. But it was not quite right for me. But again, the value of the cost and amount of food was great

Good vegetarian options. Meals come with a side of chips and salsa. Fajitas were delicious and the bean and rice burrito was tasty and filling. Nice place to go for a quick lunch or dinner. We went in a friday at about 5:30 and there was only a few minute wait to order and a few more minutes until the food was ready. Has a good spicy flavor but not too hot that it burns.
