Everything was good, but I see why the Barrio fries are the specialty. Perfect crispness, generous amount of toppings, and an amazing combination of flavors. Tried both the carne asada and el cochi loco. Both superb!

If you want Italian food, stop here. It may not look like much from the street but the atmosphere, service and food are all great. This was my third time here. Once pre pandemic and twice since dining in was allowed. Service was excellent all three times and the food was a hit with everyone, who came with us each time. Pasta Diavolo, chicken parmigiana, Spaghetti and meatballs, Southwest pasta and the chicken parmigiana sandwich are some of our favorite entrees. For appetizers, I highly recommend the green chile chicken egg rolls and the Asian inspired wings. For dessert, homemade cannolis should be. He top. They dip the ends of the cannolis and I recommend crushed pistachios for a salty and sweet combo. And yes, the cannolis are real ricotta. Overall, I don’t think you can go wrong stopping here whether it’s just you or the entire family.

Delicious food. We tried a little of everything. Baja Fries were awesome, tacos were great, breakfast burrito was yummy. Beans werent our favorite but that’s probably just a personal preference for bean consistency. Overall great food!

Stopped by with my family and the food was fantastic! Tons of options and flavors to choose from. The menu is mixed with Mexican and New Mexican influences. The red chile is a must try! It’s made from chile pods off the ristra like abuelita used to make! The atmosphere was great and the restaurant was very clean! The staff was super friendly and happy to stop by and chat with us! We will be stopping by whenever we can make it to Española.

Traveling through New Mexico with friends and needed to stop for gas. We all went in to get a snack and a drink before hitting the road again. The colorful décor of the attached restaurant caught my eye. I mentioned that they had a great menu selection and perhaps we should make this our lunch stop. My friend said she was not sure about eating “gas station food” but was willing to give it a try. The chef takes pride in his work told us he made the best food this side of the Rio Grande. Funny man, the restaurant is about a block from the river. I went with the chiles rellenos and would definitely order them again. Very tasty, lightly breaded fried to a nice crispy outside good amount of cheese inside served with rice and beans. My friend added chicken to hers and said it was great. The portion size was plentiful and the price was reasonable. Friendly service. Over all great place to stop.
