Reviews
As we arrived, not too certain about the neighborhood and the storefront look. But once we opened the door and the smells seduced us and the coziness and the full tables.
The beef and lamb kebab was heavenly.
Very attentive service. Definitely give this a try
We were driving by and decided to stop in since we were hungry and curious to try it out. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. We weren’t greeted when we walked in, and the staff didn’t seem very friendly or welcoming.
We ordered the kofta wrap and the kofta plate. The food took about 35 minutes to arrive, which felt long considering the place wasn’t very busy. The kofta itself was mushy and undercooked in texture (see photo of the wrap).
There were also drain flies on our table and even on the water, which really affected the overall dining experience.
The one bright spot was the French fries — they were hot, crispy, and honestly delicious. Also, I appreciated that the waitress kindly offered my daughter a cup of hot water when she mentioned she wanted something soothing for her gums. That small gesture meant a lot.
Unfortunately, based on this visit, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.
The vegetarian “falafel wrap” was good and came with a fresh, home-style salad on the side. However, it felt a bit dry; some sauces or dips on the side would have made it even better.
The “m’hallabiah” was a unique and refreshing dessert, and definitely a highlight of the meal.
Both dishes were tasty. The fries were a bit dry and under seasoned, but you can opt for a salad instead.
Service was great. Everyone was so friendly. I can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu.
The food is wonderful! We ordered a mango lasi, Turkish coffee, the shredded chicken wrap, salmon kabob, and the rice pudding dessert. All pristine. I haven’t had med food seasoned to my liking this perfectly in many years.
There is one single-stall bathroom, that could be a trial, but it’s clean and tidy. We arrived at a low traffic time and didn’t have an issue finding street parking. There is lightly padded seating. Navigation around the, dining area and could be obstructed for a chair user.
They’re really striving for a high end feel here; the kind owners chatting up their patrons, black attire, top shelf cuisine. I will absolutely return, I can’t wait to try more dishes!
