Nice place to stop and grap a drink or some food. The menu had a nice selection. There was bar food, appetizers, and dinners on the menu. We got wings. They were chicken wings. Would definitely go back and try one of the dinner options. I recommend the cheesesteak egg rolls for a starter.

Not the Place it used to be…
In past 25 years of deer season Venture Inn was always a good place to eat dinner. Not for me anymore.
Ordered a steak sandwich and there was more bun than steak and not very tasteful. Just 2 minute steaks with some melted American cheese drizzled on top. In the past, food portions were always generous and definitely more tasteful. I immediately noticed the new owners removed seating behind the bar for a pool table. Maybe that generates more income?

First time in. Our server was very friendly and seemed nice. The restaurant was out of 2 of the 3 things I asked for. We were served our starters and salad without being given silverware. The cook forgot to drop a fried appetizer so we waited on that. When the meals came my wings ( 6garlic hot & 6 garlic parm ) came out absolutely covered with brined garlic to the point that it overwhelmed the meal and made the meat taste sour and inedible. Our waitress was kind and comped the chicken . Nice casual atmosphere. Outdoor dining available in a pretty location. Sweet staff. The food leaves a lot to be desired .

This place is very cool, log cabin inside, it’s beautiful and very clean. The server/bartender (i think Katie) was awesome, such a sweetheart, and super helpful with everything. The food was pretty good better than basic bar food for sure. Large menu of options, drinks were great!

Waited about 45 min. Places wasn’t full. The prices were outrageous even these days. The deep fryer obviously hasn’t been changed in a long time. I got a $13 chicken cheesesteak and it obviously was a chicken chip steak. They used to give you bread and peppers but that is understandable these days. My daughters taco salad was wrong and they took 25 min to replace it. So many other restaurants to set an experience like that.

If you are looking for the worst meal of your life, then dine at The Venture Inn. They had one waitress taking care of both the bar and entire dining room. I felt bad for her as she working her butt off. Dinners took 40 minutes even though the place was less than half full. The burgers were past well done and served with cold French fries. My scallop and shrimp dish consisted of 3 quarter-sized scallops and 3 small shrimp. I looked up at the waitress like this was a joke.
