San Lorenzo Taqueria was the first meal my husband and I had after our 25 hour drive to Houston, and it really put the “everything is bigger in Texas” saying into perspective! The food was delicious overall. The steak wasn’t quite my style, it was a bit too salty and smoky for my taste, though my husband loved it. Everything else hit the spot, and we even took leftovers home. Definitely a memorable first taste of Houston and we will be back!

This was an amazing experience. We were looking for good authentic tex mex and they exceeded expectations. Miguel and Carla gave exceptional service. They were kind and inviting. And that was just the service. The food, oh the food!!! It was delicious. The enchiladas were hot and cheesy. The shrimp quesadillas were seasoned and flavorful. The street tacos were exactly what I like. I’ll definitely be back!!

Great authentic Mexican food. Tacos Al Carbon was superb. The ice tea, vegetables, pico de gallo, was very fresh. Wonderful service as well as the place was impeccably clean. A reasonable price. We are definitely coming back again.

This is white people Mexican food. Not authentic at all. The meat was very salty, did not taste or look like fajita. I have never had a torta with no beans. I thought the prices were fair at first but then i was served a piece of bread, lettuce and meat. Salsa had no flavor, tortilla chips are super thin im pretty sure they are bagged. The tortillas im pretty sure are bagged as well, not worth the money. Service was decent but the lady cleaning was super sweet. Would not consider this mexican food and would have rather saved my money.

I have loved everything I have eaten. Good margaritas and the people are very kind. Sometimes not as attentive but I can over look it because it’s good inexpensive food and that is so hard to find!! Lunches between 7 and 8 bucks. I almost always get queso or guacamole and a margarita those things anywhere else really jack the bill up. I love them!

First time here, had the chimichanga and it was crispy on the outside and tastey. The dinning area was clean and the server was attentive. The sodas tasted like they had a little more syrup than usual which I really like. I think this place is a good lunch spot. I’ll try to come back again.

Our favorite place for years. Best house frozen margarita you can find. Their chips are the thin type as we prefer. Pretty much had everything on their menu but fajitas tend to be my choice. Enchiladas are always great too. Staff knows us well enough bringing our drinks as they greet us. We prefer the smaller original location, cozy and familiar.
You have to try the flaming cheese with fajita beef.
