We started with chips, salsa, and guacamole — straightforward but tasty, fresh chips and a salsa that had a little kick. For the main course, I ordered fajitas with steak and shrimp. The meat was cooked well, flavorful, and paired nicely with warm tortillas and all the fixings. My companion got the enchiladas, which were generous and satisfying. Portions were hearty — you leave full, not stuffed, and you feel like you got your money’s worth.
What stood out most was the balance between flavor and vibe. Mi Margarita’s doesn’t pretend to be upscale — instead it delivers good Mexican‑style dishes and a relaxed environment. The staff were friendly and attentive enough to keep drinks topped up and check on us, but without crowding.

I have a really bad shellfish allergy. I made that as clear as day. They still put shrimp in my food. I asked them not to put peppers, onions, or tomatoes on it either. That was in my food as well. I called them and the person was so nonchalant about it. I won’t ever order from here again. This could’ve been extremely dangerous for me.

Tamales were not good. Was much better when they first opened. These tamales were not normal. They had the meat over way to much of what was supposed to surround it but didn’t and not much sauce or cheese on it.

ROACHES in food.
Honestly, I hate to do this. I’ve ate here a few times. Always order takeout. As I ate, I opened the clear plastic container with onions, lettuce and cilantro. As I removed the onions noticed something had fallen out of the container. After putting onions on my taco, I went back to clean what mess I may have made. As I looked on the outside of the container I could see the roach attempting to crawl back inside. Saddens me to write this but the al pastor tacos were decent just not worthy of sharing with bugs. As I sign the receipt, notice a card service fee. Question the server about a cash price and card fee, she confirmed there’s an additional charge for using a card.

It’s a hole in the wall but don’t overlook it. Great food, reasonable prices and pretty great drink specials! The MM special is a winner as it’s their Tuesday drink special. Ignore the fact that it shares a building with a gas station and enjoy!

This is a good “little hole in the wall” restaurant.Good drinks and food.OUR server was friendly and attentive.The gentleman in the photos, however,not so much.HE is the reason I can’t give 5 stars.We stood at the front door for 10 minutes waiting to be sat(HE was the face of the company at this point).We watched him go back and forth between the kitchen and his table.He didn’t speak to us, LOOK at us.Nothing!.There was ZERO acknowledgment.He acted as if there wasn’t even a front door in the place!OUR server, however,was working at a computer when we walked in,with her back towards us so,of course,she didn’t see us.As soon as she turned around,she spoke to us,sat us and went on to provide great service.

This establishment, I highly recommend. It is close to my home, and everything I have ever eaten here has been delicious. They have the best salsa, and their chips are really thin. I always get extra salsa and chips. I suggest the mocajete. It is the best. It has the best flavor and is not greasy like some of the other places I tried this dish at. The portions are also generous. I usually can squeeze three meals out of it. I have never had a problem with my order, but I still always check over everything before I leave. The employees are always pleasant, and they are fast even when I forget to order ahead.

Worst experience ever. Never going there again! Owner rude and nasty an always not giving what I ordered! NEVER! I ordered to go CHEESE DIP And she says NO CHIPS GO With it! Rude and does not care about business! Probably not even legal but treating customers ugly and would not refund an order that I had not touched! Worst customer service EVER from a MEXICAN Restaurant!
