Golden Daisy Restaurant is a great spot for casual dim sum and Chinese BBQ. The food is flavorful, portions are generous, and prices are very reasonable. I especially enjoyed the BBQ meats and classic dim sum items — perfect for a quick meal or takeout.

The place itself is pretty simple and no-frills, so don’t expect a fancy dine-in experience, but service is fast and staff are friendly. Overall, it’s a solid option when you’re craving comforting Chinese food without spending too much. I’d definitely come back.

This is a take out restaurant inside a mall. There are two small tables on the side. But given that it’s not a sit down place, nobody was keeping them clean.

We had the roasted pork (siu yuk), roasted duck, bbq pork (cha siu) and egg tarts. Food was cooked very nicely with tender meats and crispy skins. Flavors were really good although a little too salty. The lady taking our order was very nice (I guess it helps if you talk to them in Cantonese) and food came out fast. Will definitely buy food here again if I’m in the area.

Golden Daisy Restaurant is more like a deli store since there is no place to sit beside the seats provided by Vietnam House Restaurant.

The restaurant serves good take-out BBQ ducks and pork. The steamed chicken feet are also good. Pork ham-bao is not bad, except it’s too much dough for me.

If you’re in the Tukwila area, give Golden Daisy a try.

We stopped here with the grandkids because they wanted baked bao. We also got delicious steamed bao. There was another store nearby where we got bubble tea.

Dim sum items were mediocre. I give it a 2 out of 5. The noodles were to dry and consistency wasn’t great. Shu Mai was pretty big. That was a 3 at best. The sticky rice wasn’t cooked that well. Texture wasn’t what I expected. The bbq pork was probably the best out of all of their products. Customer service was really nice. The girl who helped us was nice but she kept getting distracted so I had to stop myself from ordering because I knew she was distracted and didn’t want to repeat myself.

I’ve never been so disgusted! We’ve ordered from Golden Daisy many times, but this experience was horrifying. I found a cockroach in the chicken feet dish. Absolutely unacceptable. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning after this.
Very disappointed.

10 cents for a plastic bag? I would understand if the bag was the reusable kind but this is just plain cheap plastic bags. And I think Seattle banned these kind of plastic bag. I don’t know why they still using them. By law I should get the reusable bag when I have to pay extra for it. Be honest to your customers, if you want to use that kind of bag then don’t charge for it.

Be careful when you ordered to go. Last month I have ordered a roasted pig and requested several time that I do not want a lot of fat. I opened it at home there was 2/3 of fat and 1/3 of meat even I had repeatedly requested not a lot of fat. And yes be careful at the chop roast pig counter, when you don’t mind to pay for a good foods. I understand every business striving for their great reputation but It’s definitely not the way you doing it.

I usually go there to get egg tarts or BBQ pork puffs after shopping at Lambs. There are two lady cashiers. One is friendly, but the other is not. The unfriendly cashier usually charges a ‘Big Bag’ fee without asking if I want a bag. Today, I didn’t take the bag, but the lady still charged me 10 cents. I went back and asked for a 10-cent refund. It’s not about the small fee; it’s about the cashier being rude and dishonest. I’ve noticed that many stores now don’t charge for bag fees, but they still do, especially for bags that are not reusable.

Bought my standar hum bow it was nothing like what I get on beacon hill. Think it wasn’t properly raised. The dough was tough and maybe even under steamed. Had to throw it out.
