We absolutely loved having Janelle as our waitress! She is so passionate about her job—so much so that I honestly thought she was family. She radiates happiness, made us feel so welcome, and told us more than once to take our time and enjoy ourselves. She shared her recommendations with such genuine excitement, and her enthusiasm for working at Pops was contagious. All the dishes were so fresh and delicious—we’ll definitely be coming back!

Food was mostly great. Pellegrino was room temp and we were not offered ice – we did ask for some and got one small glass of ice each, they did not have lemon or limes for water either. Calamari was very good – though the peppers didn’t add much. Clams casino spaghetti was amazing as was the chicken parm. The desserts were not that great… they were not cold, tiramisu lacked sugar and the chocolate ganache was thick, hard and basically fudge.
Service was great. Vibe was a bit off, very quiet for a Saturday evening – there seemed to be tension between the front of the house staff. The inside was uncomfortably hot – maybe they were having problems with the HVAC and fridge.
Would come back again but not in summer.

Had a good experience here last night. The appetizers of calamari and fried mozzarella were fresh and tasty. The breading on both was super light and airy and it was obvious the mozzarella was fresh.
For the dinners the chicken parm and the rigatoni with calabrian chili were our favorites. Desert special of waffles was served warm and the waffles were delicious. Only downfall was that they need more staff such as a busboy or something. Our server was great, but one person for the whole restaurant was just too much.

Went on a Sunday evening to try the fixed price dinner that is served family style. The restaurant was not crowded but we had a fun time and the service was great. The antipasto was good but the spaghetti and (undercooked) meatballs were just ok. Desserts were mostly lackluster as well.

We recently dined at this restaurant and were pleased with the quality of the food. The appetizers we had were calamari and mozzarella sticks. These were well-prepared and flavorful. The calamari was crisp without being overcooked, and the mozzarella sticks had a satisfying crunch with gooey cheese inside.
For our main course, we tried a variety of pastas, and the standout dish was the beef rigatoni. The sauce was rich and hearty, and the beef was tender and well-seasoned.
While the food met our expectations, the service experience left room for improvement. It was clear the staff was doing their best, but the dining room was noticeably understaffed. There was no host or bussing support, which led to long waits for table clearing, water refills, taking orders and general attention throughout the meal. These service gaps affected the overall experience, even though the staff on the floor worked hard to keep up.
With the addition of even one more staff member, particularly a busser or host to assist with the basics, I think the flow of service could significantly improve. Best of luck to the restaurant.

Went to Pops for the first time today after seeing their transition from Café le Jardin. My boyfriend entered their first ever meatball eating contest, and won! Not only was our first experience entirely unique, but it finally let us get a taste (a big one for him) of a highly anticipated restaurant for us. Everyone was incredibly accommodating and kind. We can’t wait to return to use our first prize winnings of a $100 gift card.

I’ve been going to Pop’s since they opened, and each time it is better and better. The service at Pop’s is excellent. We are greeted by Janell who is vivacious, loud, knows and describes the menu like you can taste it, and she makes me feel like you are home with your family!! Pop’s usually has a special on a Friday night that is off menu that we cannot resist!
I usually go with different friends because I just need to share this deliciousness with all my friends and family.
My favorite is the crab gravy with spaghetti!! I also love the chicken cutlet with long hots, which is a party unto itself! The truffle gnocchi was off the charts. I cannot wait to go back. Always a great experience!!

Five stars is not enough! We were greeted like family and treated to a fantastic family style feast. Each dish seemed better than the last. Like Nonas were in the kitchen trying to outdo each other. The service was exceptional from start to finish! Professional, kind, attentive, pleasant and knowledgeable! It was a joy for any server to come up to our table. They made you want to ask them to sit and enjoy the meal with you.
Kudos to the owner, management and staff!
