Went to Yakko Bistro for dinner and was very pleasantly surprised by the Japanese oriented theme of the restaurant. The food was quite good and I tried dey ramen for the first time and it was soo good with the Chashu. The veg sushi was also very good with a good crunch on sesame on the outside and cucumber on the inside. The staff was very friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend visiting this Japanese restaurant for your sushi and ramen needs. And they have more too. Must try!!

It’s really weird that I didn’t know about this sushi place before. Everything that I got I had a great taste. My little sister really love her sushis. So there’s a couple thumbs up from her. Our family will definitely be going back there!!!!! And I really like their take on sushi with fried shrimp. It was so tasty

Very high quality sushi and Japanese food, especially considering the price. I have gotten food here a number of times now and have yet to be disappointed. Sometimes you have to wait a bit for your food, but I assume that’s because it’s being made fresh. I’d prefer fresh food that I wait for over old food immediately any day.

We were welcomed by Hiro and his staff as we sat at the sushi bar. Hiro is the itamae-san and whipped up some special treats we have not had in a while.
We started with Kawahagi (Fish jerky), beer and a bottle of very cold unfiltered sake. Then proceeded on to Edamame, Chilean Seabass with miso sauce, Oyster Fry, Ika and mentaiko with a quail egg, several temaki with ikura and mentaiko, toro, uni (very good and sweet) and finally finished with Banana Tempura.
The entire experience was wonderful. The food was all fantastic. Hiro was not rushed, was friendly and easy to talk to. He has been back in his old location for about a year. I wish we had known sooner!

Whenever I am on this road and in North Miami Beach I stop here to get food! This quick sushi restaurant has been consistently good for many years. The staff is always friendly and they always can answer any question about the menu quickly. The happy hour is also a very good deal and includes the weekends.it doesn’t look like there is a lot of parking available but you are allowed to park across the street at the shopping center where there is always ample parking.

There’s really nothing bad to say about this place. Sub $10 Don dishes? 6 pieces nigiri for $6? This place is really good and really cheap. Do not expect a fancy dinner experience, this is a good barebones and affordable Japanese restaurant.
