I finally stopped in, after my dad had been recommending I check them out for quite some time. Their customer service is top notch. I appreciate patronizing businesses that appreciate their customers. The food was packaged neatly and with care. Most importantly, the food was served fresh and tasty. I look forward to trying items from their extensive “steamed/healthy” alternative menu, also.

Edit 6/1/2025: It’s been over a year and China Wok continues to be a gem. Iris is incredible when it comes to customer service, and the food remains a highlight for me when it comes to lunch and dinner takeout option with my roommates and friends.
Edit 7/27/2024:Ordered the same as we had last time and not only did they remember me, but they remembered I didn’t like carrots on my lo mein from the online order I did a month ago which I had forgotten to ask be removed. When I arrived, I was greeted warmly, thanked for my review and my patronage. When I got home, the food was just as delicious and made to specifications as I requested for us. Truly, if I could give more stars, I would. A true hidden gem of a restaurant!

Got two lunch specials for me and my friend. Food was delicious! Hot and fresh, good portions, and very affordable. We had some small special requests (like light sauce for the General Tsos) and they did eveything perfectly. The Cashier was incredibly friendly. Will definitely be coming back again.

I called and ordered a sesame seed chicken dinner with extra veggies in the rice from here because sun suns on 6 mile and Woodward (100% better food) was closed they told me 10 minutes I thought that was rather fast but I thought they closed at 7pm like sun suns on Saturdays they close at 10 got there she just packed this food and I stay 2 minutes away got home the food is old and cold like someone order who didn’t come and get it…
They will give you old food that people didn’t come get I wouldn’t eat here and they never busy for a reason

Neighborhood staple! 10/10 recommend. Gravy is the best I’ve had by any Chinese restaurant. Family is dynamic and the recipes just don’t quit. Been going here since I was a kid and it only gets better and better.

I accidentally messed up what I wanted to order, and the staff couldn’t have been more understanding. They let me exchange it without any problem and had the replacement ready in less than 5 minutes! Everyone was so kind and patient about the mix-up, and it honestly turned what could’ve been a stressful situation into a really positive experience. Great customer service and super nice people—I’ll definitely be coming back!

Wish I could give it less than 1 star. Our family had been ordering from them for years the food was always good. But now not so much in fact I would dare say it was disappointing bordering on disgusting. I don’t know if it’s because of all of the changes with food You know the genetically modified versions and the horrible things they are doing to chicken. But do not.
