Heard a lot of good things about this place. My family and I came and for 5 of us, the woman put a couple tables together for us all to sit. She was VERY nice! We placed an order and she ended up bringing all the food to our table. We first got the crab rangoons and steamed rice and my daughter said they were delicious. We got pork fried rice which was the best we’ve had in the county! Also got chicken chow mein, orange chicken, sesame chicken, and green bean chicken. All was super fresh and hot and delicious! I definitely will be coming back and highly recommend. She also mentioned she will be getting a bigger table next week because she’s supposed at how many people like to sit and eat there. Go try this place!

This is definitely a welcome addition to the bland Chinese food restaurants seemingly all around the area. There plenty of variety and solid flavor profiles. We had the Mu Shu Chicken, Sweet and Sour Pork, Chow Mein, and Walnut Prawns. Plenty of food in each for two to four people. It took a significant amount of wait time for the take out, but I think it was just because they had just opened up recently. Hopefully that speeds up soon. All in all, I can’t wait to come back soon for more!

It was our first time there and we had the Orange chicken and the prawn Chow Mein. The food had lots of flavor. Restaurant was very clean and the lady working was very nice. We look forward to going back and trying other things on the menu

Very cold in there. Lots of food. Cashew chicken and chicken and vegetables very similar in flavor. Chow mein was very good. Fried rice was dry and not a lot of flavor.

Food was fairly decent. Not amazing but passable Chinese food. The fried rice was really good. The chow mein was good. The orange chicken wasnt the best. The sesame chicken was better than the orange. Very friendly. Bit of a wait for the food which is expected. Overall not bad. There are a few tables to eat at and the woman at the front said they’re getting more soon.

The original owners of iron wok placerville have moved here. So happy we finally have a good chinese place in the area. Quality is very high and portions are solid. A lot of chinese places skimp on the meat in chow mein / fried rice, but not here. Worth the price they charge.

What a find – a superb Chinese restaurant in the heart of Amador County, owned and operated by a local couple with 30 years in the business! I personally love their General Gao’s chicken, the veggie fried rice, and the spring rolls, but my friends with more esoteric tastes seem delighted as well. . Highly recommended.

Just stopped in for my first time and I am very pleased that we have a good Chinese take out spot here in Amador now. Food was cooked to order, and you can see the food being made which is always nice. Wait was a little long when I went in at 530pm but it wasn’t anything crazy. Portions are okay for the price. I know alot of people expect crazy portions at Chinese restaurants but I’d rather have a reasonable portion of good food than a mountain of sub par food that I likely won’t even finish. The lady taking my order was very pleasant as well. I will for sure be back again to try some more items on their menu.
