We recently went there to celebrate my birthday! As usual the service and friendliness of the staff was out of this world. They have a DJ most times I’ve been there. Super fun! The food and beverages are priced right, and the food is very good. There is a nice relaxing 9 hole golf course too. It’s so nice to play nine holes, come in to the a/c, have some good food and cold drinks. We really like the place, all year round!

Came for the bar food, stayed for the margarita smooth, balanced, and a little dangerous in the best way. The food hit the spot (exactly what you want from a bar menu), and our waitress was so friendly she deserves her own five stars. Didn’t even play golf, but had to mention weekend rates are only $20 for 9 holes, which is a steal these days. CJ’s Clubhouse is serving good vibes on and off the course!

My family and friends hit up singo almost every Tuesday. Jeff does a phenomenal job running the show. However the true STAR OR HERO is Sheri. Can’t say enough about her. Her positive attitude and love for sparkle is second to none. She makes everyone feel like family.

Went to CJ’s for the first time tonight since they opened. Overall pretty good! Place was very busy and employees were hustling. I ordered the garlic parmesan traditional wings with tots and both were very good! My husband got the Italian sub with onion rings. His sub had generous toppings but the bread was not good. The onion rings were decent. Good size portions on everything and beer was cold. The printer in the kitchen ran out of printer paper and they lost our order so it took awhile to get our food, but they made it right and comped our meals without us even asking. Definitely good customer service. Will be back!

Food was not very good. If your not a regular don’t expect very good service. People came in after us and got their food before we even ordered. I didn’t eat my onion rings because they were burnt. Could complain because nobody came back around. The only plus was the cheese curds and the price of the beer. So if you just want an appetizer and beer maybe try it.

This is our second time ordering food online, and it’s one of our new fav places! The first time my husband got the burger, I got boneless garlic parm chicken, and we also got the cheese curds. So yummy! Second time my husband wanted to try the sweet Chilli boneless and he was sooo glad he did.
Cheese curds and the boneless… can’t go wrong! Both times I had great service. Ordering online is easy. Food is ready in great timing, definitely give them a try!

The food was really really good. My wife had a pizza and I had the hot ham and cheese sandwich. The sandwich was the best I’ve had in years. The bartender kept up on our drinks and was really friendly. The music was great from the 80’s and early 90’s. I especially loved seeing some of the wait staff dancing and having a little bit of fun while working. Seeing the staff having fun (for me) makes the whole experience 10 times much better and fun!!!!1 My wife had a couple of alcoholic drinks and she said they were really good. Everything was really affordable. Which gets bonus points for me.

CJ’s hosted a group of about 20 of my coworkers last night for a murder mystery dinner in their upstairs space, and we all had the best time! The upstairs space is a perfect place for gathering and the servers, Kaitlyn and Abby, did a great job taking care of us. Sherri was amazing in helping us plan the event and making sure everything went perfectly for us. The cheese curds with CJ’s sauce were a group favorite and the boneless wings were absolutely delicious as well. The pizzas were huge, and the bacon chicken ranch one ended up being our favorite.
I have dined at CJ’s a few other times too with my family, and each time, we’ve had consistently great food and service! My husband enjoys the burger, and I’ve enjoyed the fried Pasta Salvi and the grilled ham and cheese. Each time, our waitresses have been pleasant and quick with their service.
The place was packed last night, because the music trivia host that used to do Old Horseshoe’s trivia now hosts the same event at CJ’s on Thursdays. If you were an Old Horseshoe regular, I can’t recommend CJ’s enough, I think you would love it.

I’m no golfer. I’m pretty terrible in fact. But you don’t need to golf here to be welcome at the Clubhouse. My (now) wife and I have been coming here since we moved to Johnstown, and we love it! The food is great, it never feels too crowded, they have trivia/singo events during the week, and the staff is personable and fun! We always have a great time here and feel strongly that there’s no better place to grab a drink and hang out here in Johnstown.
We eloped a year ago and decided to book the upstairs of CJ’s to celebrate the anniversary of this milestone in our lives with a “reception” for friends and family. And we are so happy we did. Their staff was so accommodating! They bent over backwards to make our event very special. They were flexible on when we could set up and tear down. They helped concoct special cocktails and set up a special menu. They were prompt and courteous the day of, and truly went above and beyond to make sure our night was memorable.
We are especially thankful to the one and only DJ Sherri Shimmy. For starters, she absolutely nailed it with a slideshow playlist and once we decided to open up the dance floor later in the night. Most importantly though, she was proactive about the plans for the night, and she always made herself available to discuss when we needed it, even on her days off! She took it upon herself personally to make our night special, and she did not let us down. Everything went perfectly!
CJ’s Clubhouse has been a great place for us to grab a drink or a bite for over a year now. And speaking from experience, it’s an awesome place to schedule your private event. We’re looking forward to coming back for the dance party at the end of the month, which we’d love to see them do even more often! Even though we’re both 90s babies, CJ’s has fostered our love for the 80s! We’ll continue coming to CJ’s as our go-to place for as long as they’ll have us!
