Reviews
My visit to Nessa’s Café was one of those unexpected, joy-filled travel moments that stay with you long after the miles roll by. Run by a wonderful husband-and-wife team, this café radiates warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality from the moment you walk in. As an RV traveler who’s always searching for places with soul, Nessa’s instantly felt extra special.
What truly set this experience apart was their thoughtfulness and sense of humor. They even set up a place for my boney travel companion—well past his prime—so I wouldn’t feel alone while dining. That small, playful, deeply human gesture turned a great meal into a memorable experience. We laughed, chatted, and shared stories, and by the end of the visit it felt less like eating out and more like spending time with new friends.
And then there’s the food—absolutely outstanding. Every bite was flavorful, comforting, and clearly made with care. It was so good that I couldn’t resist taking two meals to go for the road, which says everything you need to know. When you’re traveling long distances in an RV, finding food that’s both delicious and satisfying is gold—and Nessa’s delivered in a big way.
As someone who intentionally seeks out extra-special, locally owned places to eat while traveling, I can honestly say Nessa’s Café surpassed most. It’s welcoming, heartfelt, fun, and delicious—the perfect combination for travelers, locals, and anyone who believes great food tastes even better when it’s served with kindness.
If you’re anywhere nearby in New Mexico, do yourself a favor and stop in. You’ll leave full, smiling, and maybe even with leftovers for the road—just like I did. ️✨
We returned – and this time NESSA herself brought out a cool Doggie waterbowl, and a Bacon Puppachino for a very good dog!
Their homemade Choritzo Burrito with homemade hot sauce is the bomb-diggity
We stopped at their place and saw some nice road signs which unfortunately were not for sale, but they hooked us up with some others that were their own how nice!!
Be sure to stop at this place if you’re in for a pleasant surprise. The interior alone is worth it. It is located in a neighborhood which gives it so much more character than when it would be located in a mall for instance.
They have inside and outside seating and parking is right there on the spot.
We ordered the blueberry bliss, the BLT, the sausage, corn, and zucchini quiche, and the Sun Valley scone sandwich, each fantastic in their own right. They are child-friendly, and our kiddo did great with them.
In all, we highly recommend this cafe!
