I’m a regular customer and usually enjoy coming here. Today I ordered one of my favorite sandwiches, the Mafisos ($15.99). Unfortunately, when I got home to eat it, the bread was extremely over-toasted. It was so hard that it hurt the roof of my mouth and gums with every bite, making it unenjoyable to eat.
I called the store to see what could be done, and I spoke with Matt, the store manager (who also made my sandwich). He sounded very bothered by my call. I was simply looking for a solution, but I was told there was nothing they could do and that next time I should ask for it lightly toasted. The response felt dismissive and unprofessional.
If the policy is that nothing can be done unless the sandwich is brought back, that should be clearly stated. As a loyal customer, I expected better customer service and a willingness to resolve the issue.
Very disappointed

I’ve usually had decent experiences here, but my recent visit was a total mess. I placed an order that ended up completely incorrect, and when I tried to get it fixed, the service was a real mixed bag.
The girls behind the counter were, as always, incredibly polite and professional. Unfortunately, they were overshadowed by a guy working there who was extremely rude. He was dismissive and acted like helping me with their mistake was a massive inconvenience.
It’s a shame because the rest of the staff is great, but that kind of attitude makes me think twice about coming back

I only buy sliced turkey here. The variety and prices are good. Plus they have a wide selection of sweet treats and special meats that you don’t find in regular grocery stores. Sometimes they have free day-old bread. I often purchase candies and cookies for gifts. Please support small businesses.

Let me give you a basic advice of how cold cuts should be given to customers.
Please decide the rows of meat with a thin sheet on order to make it possible to make sandwiches. It’s seriously impossible to decide the thin slices and breaks apart. A little bit of training and knowledge on how this needs to be done should be available to the staff. See pics for more.

We had stopped at another store in this center so we decided to try this place by chance. We are very happy we did. There is a little seating area inside and a few tables outside. It was fairly busy. There is a small area for European food items and the deli. My husband ordered a capicola sandwich. I ordered pierogies (which I was ecstatic to see). I loved my pierogies! My husband enjoyed his sandwich very much. The bread was soft with a nice firm crust. We will say it had a sweet bread and butter like pickle we were not fans of. We are dill pickle people. Great meal.

I absolutely love this place. I just have one call out and this is it. Can you please have your team that prepares orders to pay attention to orders. Two times I ordered a French dip saying no horseradish sauce and it’s on the sandwich. I just want a French dip with no horseradish on it. I will give you 5 stars when I get my sandwich that I ordered is correct. Until then it’s 2 stars because I paid for 2 French dip sandwiches in the last month that were terrible because of the horseradish that I specifically told the person taking my order to not add.

I really enjoyed the hot dogs from this store the first two times I ordered them. They were nicely presented and included all the classic toppings like sauerkraut, ketchup, and mustard, which made them flavorful and worth the price. However, the last two times I ordered, I only received a plain sausage in a bun, without any toppings. While the quality of the sausage is still good, the lack of ingredients makes it feel overpriced. I hope the consistency improves because I would love to keep enjoying these hot dogs as they were originally served!

I live in New Orleans now, but I’m from Quartz Hill California and I dream of this deli to this day. Me and my family. It’s one of the hardest things that we had to leave and I’m not even kidding. I love a good German deli sandwich and they had the most delicious sandwiches I’ve ever had. I wish I knew what kind of bread they used so I could make me a copycat in New Orleans. When I get back to California, my first stop, will be this deli.
