From my understanding Buffalo Jo’s isn’t new and is there new location. For starters it is very welcoming when you walk in. It’s casual and laid back so that’s a good thing. The dining area is a nice size. The tables and chairs have seen better days but something that can easily be upgraded over time and for whatever reason the table was sticky. We ordered the Buffalo Fries as an appetizer and came out pretty quick but had a little too much sauce in my opinion. We decided to get bone and boneless wings which the flavors were all very good. It’s a pretty cool place and definitely worth supporting.

I was working just down the road from here and saw this place was really close and decided to give it a go. I had the pepperoni pizza that wasn’t bad. But my highlight was definitely the wings. I got hot honey and the buffalo. Both were really good, cooked just right, crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The size was way bigger than you’d find at the chain, I was really surprised at how big they were. I’m not from this area but it feels like they are out in the middle of nowhere, I hope they get the community support they deserve! I will be coming back to this place.

Definitely a hidden gem!! Beer was the coldest I’ve had in Midland. Wings were fantastic! Flavor and size were spot on! Our service was spot on as well! Little guy had the restaurant all to himself, he never let our beer get empty! So glad we found it!

buffalo jos has great staff but giving credit where itd due the kitchen staff is exceptional never had a problem with my order whatsoever. waitresses and waiters are friendly. You can tell the cook enjoys what he does just by tasting their food!

I’ve been coming in here for months and service has always been been beyond stellar everything from the popcorn and drinks as starter to the fresh made wings……. “which are my favorite” down to the great people tending to you… Jacob has always done an amazing job and is very helpful make sure to ask for him!!! Which i could add photos of the food but it was gone before I could post lol!!!!

If you got time go here. Waited 1 hr for 8 wings. Was told there was no xx but person next to me got a bucket of them. If you don’t wanna drink alone. The bartenders will drink with you from what I saw.

I usually don’t write too many reviews.But this one was definitely worth it i’ve never been to this place before. I was just passing through and I stopped in and tried their wings they are some of the best wings I have ever had in my opinion better than wing stop they were very crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside and they have a lemon pepper buffalo sauce that is the best I’ve tasted friendly people quiet place

Bring your own beer… (and dog!)
Buffalo Jo’s is a hidden gem located downtown in the heart of Midland, Texas. In a town where tacos and burgers are plentiful, I was told that Buffalo Jo’s is the “go to” spot for wings.
I came here last week with a friend and I was pleasantly surprised to say the least.
Upon entering I was greeted by a friendly face and seated immediately. The restaurant was a cozy establishment with tons of seating and multiple televisions.
So here’s how my experience went…
For starters I ordered the onion rings with a side of queso, and for my entree I ordered some boneless wings which were tossed in their special weekly sauce (pb&j and habanero) with a side of truffle fries.
First off, I think it’s freaking ridiculous how amazing their onion rings are! Literally dipped in a batter created by God himself and then fried to a golden brown perfection.
This local establishment is known for their creative, daring, and bold flavor choices… I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED.
There’s chicken, then there’s Buffalo Jo’s where everything you thought you knew about chicken goes straight out the window. This is a place where limits are pushed, masterpiece’s are created and rules don’t exist when it comes to their exotic flavors ranging from the hottest of hot to tangy, sweet and bold.
And I can’t forget the truffle fries, which unlike most truffle dishes I’ve tried are cooked in a truffle butter, these where actually seasoned with truffle salt definitely making them a perfect pairing with the wings.
Didi I mention Buffalo Jo’s is also BYOB? Yeah that’s right, bring your own beer AND dog’s are also welcomed (even the ones who can’t tell time).
Overall this is the perfect place to watch the game and grab a delicious bite to eat. The staff is beyond friendly and I can not wait to return again.
I definitely recommend Buffalo Jo’s to anyone looking for a good vibe, amazing food, and a tasty experience.

Everyone has that one chicken wing spot that just can’t be touched. That one place where the wings hit just right. The one place where they sauce the wings with just the right amount of sauce.
I’m fortunate enough to now have two of these places. Buffalo Jo’s is now my Midland spot for chicken wings.
Appetizers are on point. Buffalo fries are loaded and stacked high, full of flavor and big enough to be a meal.
Fried pickles are fried perfectly, and will leave you wanting more.
The wings are incredible, with a great selection of sauces.
The ranch is great, you can tell they make it in-house. The blue cheese though is where it’s at. Chunky, smooth, and sticks to the wings just right.
I’m not lying, y’all need to try this for yourself. This is Midland’s chicken wings spot.
