On Christmas Day, we had the great pleasure of enjoying a seven-course meal at Le Lingot—an exceptional experience in every way.
The menu was intuitively and ingeniously put together by the chef on the day and was impressive in every way. Whether it was lobster, scallops, caviar with oysters, or the perfectly cooked sous-vide veal with freshly grated truffles – every single course was culinary excellence and characterized by excellent product quality.
The service was attentive, warm, and perfectly coordinated. The cozy, intimate atmosphere, accompanied by atmospheric chanson music, lent the evening a very special elegance.
A particular highlight was the personal finale, when we had the opportunity to thank Frédéric personally for this wonderful meal. An evening of the highest standard – excellent and absolutely recommendable!

I was nervous about eating here and being served what they cooked rather than being able to order what I wanted, but it was amazing. One of the best restaurants I ever ate in with fantastic service in a cozy and beautiful setting. All 7 courses were excellent. This restaurant deserves at least one Michelin star if not more and the price was very reasonable for the quality. If you are in town I would highly recommend reserving a table.

Le Lingot was one of the best surprises during our stay in Honfleur. The staff is amazing and even the chef took some time to have a conversation with us. The food was amazing. The chef finds ways to give modern twists to authentic dishes and knows to surprise you course, after course, after course. Would definitely recommend dining here and would certainly go back during a next visit of Honfleur.

Stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and the first thing that caught the eye was the absolutely beautiful atmosphere . Everything about this restaurant is pure art. The service was top notch! The guys super attentive to everything and very friendly.

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to, even including ones with Michelin stars. The service is so amazingly gracious and welcoming. The food is beyond compare. I am having a hard time coming up with enough superlatives to express just what a wonderful dining experience we had here. My parents are visiting us in France and we went here for a special dinner and it thoroughly exceeded our expectations. The food is all made with ingredients from the region and the food and wine pairings are divinely inspired. The chef is a true magician and the front of house staff are the most amazing, knowledgeable, friendly, welcoming people you can imagine. If you’re in Honfleur, you owe it to yourself to dine here for a once in a lifetime experience.

Booked online, easy to do. Visiting from the UK, the service was exceptional and the warm welcome for foreign travellers was pleasant. The explanation of the menu and what was in season was good and the attentiveness to every interaction was perfect. We had an incredible five-course meal that included a delicious selection of fish, meat, dessert, and perfectly prepared oysters on the side – the oysters were a highlight, served beautifully loosened. The champagne and wine pairings were excellent and complemented each course perfectly. The staff was exceptionally friendly, making the entire dining experience both enjoyable and memorable. Let me preface by saying, my husband’s family is from Normandie since Viking times and I have spent much time dining at every mom and pop restaurant to fine dining restaurants of any note in the expansive region. THIS is the ultimate all time real deal place my friends. Whether you are seeking a Julia Roberts moment of eat pray love, or a gastronomic explosion or simply the most memorable flavors and textures in your mouth even though have been on a culinary marathon and cannot bring yourself or have yet another mouthful, this is a two year old gem but NOT TO BE MISSED! The candlelit rustic elegant ambience is rich without being stuffy in the least and the head waiter was delightful and the head Chef originally from the Aquitaine coast are just a dynamic duo who bring the flavors and local produce of Normandie to LIFE. I have had these ingredients for a lifetime but each rendition of the freshest ingredients were truly a delight. It was an ordinary evening that was made extraordinary by the flavors and humble pride of the wonderful team, we were truly touched by the flavors first and foremost and of course the service.
