Really enjoyed this place. Nice friendly welcome, good table and I really like the decor. Ruby, our waitress was very attentive and helpful with recommendations. The lunch was great. We were four people, all ordered different things and we all liked our choices. Would highly recommend.

My husband took me to have breakfast and it ABSOLUTELY was an excellent choice. Small, quaint restaurant with tasteful memorabilia scattered around that bubbles with excitement and delicious entrees. You hear lively conversations, friendly waiters that look genuinely happy to see you. Our waiter, Mark was very engaging, knowledgeable about the menu and didnt mind my gazzillon questions about the menu. You really feel like you are in your grandmothers kitchen ready to eat breakfast. Great price point and the food was tasty, organic choices and scrumptious. Loved it.

Great place with nice decor, friendly and efficent service and delicious breakfast/brunch &lunch plates, sandwiches and salads etc. The eggs Benedict and the French toasts were delicious. Make sure you try the home fried potatoes. Bacon is also very good. The place closes at 2h00pm and has a full bar andserves cocktails, mimosas, etc.

Very cute place for breakfast/brunch. The menu is southern inspired and offers many savory and sweet options. The home potatoes were heavenly soft inside and crispy outside. I really liked the homemade granola, with an extra side of cornbread. Overall, quite satisfied with this restaurant.

Excellent, authentic southern food. Best service in town! The chicken and cornbread waffle is unique and delicious! I highly recommend this place. There is usually a wait on the weekend but it’s worth it. I was only in town a few days but ate three meals here. Free drink refills on tea, fountain soda and coffee was another plus since this is the only place that had that.

Great location down town Montpellier, light, airy decor with a comfortable atmosphere. Good food at a reasonable rate. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend…serves breakfast and dinner all day…enjoy!

The food is amazing! The pancakes aren’t too heavy like a lot of breakfast places. Cute rustic decor that seemed to be a cross between country and ’50s diner. I enjoyed my first visit here with a friend from out of town and would highly recommend it to others.
Having worked in foodservice, my only complaint would be that the staff need to be more conscious of sanitary cleaning habits. Cleaning rags used on chairs shouldn’t then be used on table tops & vice versa. And please, wash your hands after sneezing!

Just what the Dr. Ordered. Had just arrived from S.F. for a conference & was looking for some home cooking. WOW!!! Is all U can say. Them HomeStyle fries was a surprise. Fried chicken & cornbread was awesome.
