The best restaurant in St Albans. Everything is always amazing, especially the mussels in white wine, garlic and parsley, the pasta, pizza and tiramisu. Very reasonably priced too.

Great food. Authentically Italian ‘home cooking’. Personable but not very attentive staff. The atmosphere on the evening we were there, though welcoming, was a little chilly. We’d definitely return but maybe in the warmer weather.

Went here the day before Mother’s Day, with my Mum and my sister. 1st visit for me. Menu is extensive and most definitely something for everyone. Service was great, Food tasted AMAZING, I mean really really good flavours in all 3 main dishes. We had Risotto Mare risotto, Del Bosco pasta dish and Contadina pasta dish. Highly recommend and will be back for more!

Everything about this place screams quality — from the elegant décor to the carefully crafted menu. The soup of the day was a roasted pumpkin and ginger blend, and it was heavenly. What makes DavVero special are the staff and owner. It is very much a local restaurant. The food is wholesome and lovely. We were a large group and so shared a few starters with mains following and finally a few desserts. All meals came out without fuss and I didn’t hear a single complaint.

Very nice pizzas and Italian food. They offer a lot of variety for children in the form of smaller portions of the pasta and pizza menu. They were also accommodating to the request of my daughter to not add tomato to one of their risottos. The only thing I would improve is that they had Coke and diet Coke, but not Coke zero.

Took a bunch of mates here. Service was excellent, waiting staff were chatty and funny and were professional. We ordered a couple of antipasti plates to start which were delicious, the only thing that was missing was some bread which I think should be included.
I ordered a pizza whilst everyone else ordered a pasta. Couldn’t fault the pizza at all, the dough was exceptionally cooked and the toppings were well balanced. Trying some of the pasta, I have to say that it was some of the best I’ve had for a while, perfectly cooked and sauced.
Finally we finished with some desserts of which I chose the tiramisu being a huge fan. It really hit the spot. Perfectly whipped marscapone texture balanced with well soaked lightly boozed sponge fingers. Perfection.
A very satisfying meal and will definitely be visiting again! Don’t be put off that this place is ‘out of town’! It’s a hidden gem just round the corner.

First time I have eaten here , it definitely won’t be the last . Such a lovely welcoming, attentive place. The food …. WOW ! All 7 of us had nothing but the highest praise for the AMAZING, TASTY and WONDERFULLY prepared food. It was DELICIOUS.
