Jan 8. Our 1st time here & we are happy we came. Food came piping hot, with generous portions. We ordered lamb korma, sheesh kebab, tandoori chicken with rice & garlic naan. Everything was fresh and delicious. Jan 11 ordered a takeaway. Naan half burnt onion bajas over cooked hard looked like rocks. Lamb korma dry. Bombay potatoes undercooked Everything was so awfull we threw in bin. I rang back imediately and asked if it was the same chef that cooked thursdays delicious meal, yes it was. Sadly we won’t be returning.

The food was amazing. We ask for medium chilli heat and it was not overly spicy. Ppl were in and out for uber eats but inside dinner is a most. The staff was lovely the decor lovely. Nice light playing Indian music was lovely in the background. Didn’t take photos but will next time

We rolled in at 8:40pm to grab takeaway and the service was very friendly. We were pleasantly surprised with some snacks as we waited. We’ve been here many times before and the food is great. Will be back again! ☺️

Our club, Rocky City Hash House Harriers had our Christmas party at Virasat Indian Restaurant on a Tuesday evening, this is the second time we have had our Christmas party there. We were a group of 30 and were thoroughly looked after all evening. The food was delicious, we had chosen a choice of 5 dishes, to have with rice and nan bread. Lovely atmosphere, so welcoming! Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone, small or large groups.

Every time I get the opportunity to eat out when I’m in Rockingham, I go here. The food never disappoints! The flavours are so rich, and the meat is always exquisitely tender. The service is always fantastic as well. I highly recommend the madras with beef, and the palak paneer.

From the mouth watering odour of the food lingering in the air to the welcoming smile on arrival from the lovely manager you know your really in for a treat.
The food arrived promptly and the serving sizes were very generous. Very tender meat and full of beauiful flavours. Generous servings make this restaurant a must go for any food enthusiast .I recommend the onion bajis and butter chicken.

We had Chicken Biryani, Malai Kofta, Garlic Naan and steamed rice for dinner tonight. Parveen attended to us; she was such a sweet and friendly staff. Food was DELICIOUS – chicken biryani served to my liking, soft naan, beautiful malai kofta served to my partner’s request. You got to try if you are in the area. It is worth a visit!

We had our wedding dinner at Virasat on 6 May 2023.
The owners Goldy and Jass were so helpful in planning the menu for our guests. Jass decorated the wall behind us making us feel so special.
The food and quality was outstanding to say the least.
Our guests enjoyed the entrées and main courses that kept everyone well fed.
I would highly recommend this lovely family business to anyone who wants to experience good Indian tucker !!
