Lovely place, great scenery, excellent customer service. Food was amazing. Smash burgers were crispy along the edges, caramelized onions and special sauce were a sweet taste to offset the meat, the bun was almost a crescent roll type bun, light and fluffy. Steak fries, with seasoned salt were perfect. Onions rings were light and airy using red onions , the sauces included were delicious. Stout was dark and rich, smooth. River was a nice view. Literally the only complaint is I hate the chairs, small and metal high chairs after a couple of drinks is just plain hazardous for my health.

This place is AWESOME. We went there for the first time today on the way to Blue Ridge. Jordan & Rebecca were so sweet & friendly. Jordan let us sample our beers before choosing. She and Rebecca have great personalities and made the experience so much better ☺️ I ended up picking the “Citrus Shenanigans”. It was very good & lemon-y My mom had their “Hazy Like the Weekend” IPA and enjoyed it also. We sat out on the deck overlooking the river and enjoyed the beautiful weather & our crisp cold beers. We ordered a pastrami sandwich with fries to split and OMG it was fantastic! The marbled rye bread was toasted to perfection. The sandwich was loaded with pastrami. It had a great combination of mayo, mustard and homemade Russian dressing. And the fries … like how can fries be that good? But I’m telling you they were. They make their own seasoning salt for the fries and it’s delicious. We enjoyed the classic vinyl style music being played and even saw a couple turtles free floating down the Cartecay river We also saw a bunch of ducks swimming and diving for food in the river. The patio is dog friendly, however since they started serving food they had to evict their brewery cat “Midnight” from inside the building ⬛ They have a cool selection of shirts as well as pint glasses, stickers & more. We stopped in here while visiting Ellijay for the day. They have a great beer selection. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Being on the river gives a great vibe and for a relaxing view. We also had lunch here, the menu is small but everything we tried was very good. The wings were some of the best we ever had. The sausage plate was filling and the sausage was cooked perfectly. The entrance is a bit easy to miss, it’s located between the brewery and Little Caesars. And they are very dog friendly.

Cartecay – you make my heart sing! Such a wonderful brewery with knowledgeable beertenders and clean tasting room! Inside and outside seating with an on site food truck. Looks like they have live music too – which I will return to experience. Merch selection rocks!

Killer beer and next-level food! The pastrami? Unreal — it’s like a flavor dance party in your mouth. The new outdoor bar? Total game changer — grabbing a brew has never been easier. This place is hands-down one of my favorite hangouts. Sundays in Ellijay = perfection!

We very much enjoyed our visit to this small brewery. We were super impressed to be served and chatted up by the very present owner. Great setting with a patio and river views, cool building with a semi industrial feel and lots of wood accents. Family friendly with game options including darts, corn hole and shuffleboard (although the table is desperately in need of refurbishing). We enjoyed their IPA pledge week very much. Lots of cool swag too! Clean bathrooms!

The bbq nachos that my dad and I shared for lunch were very good! The caramelized onions had a pleasant sweetness that complimented the barbecue, and the chips are dusted with seasoning that gives the meal a good sweet-heat flavor! ✨️
