The food here is really good! We came in Christmas Eve for lunch & were seated quickly. However it did take a while to be served. I’m guessing the kitchen was backed up due to all of the to go orders. The drinks were really good. My hubby had two top shelf margaritas but they clearly changed the tequila in the 2nd one. My daughter had a mimosa & the mango margarita. The mango margarita was really sweet but strong. Beware! I had a few mimosas that were pretty cool. We ordered the lemon pepper wings which were salty but good. I had the chicken & waffles. No complaints. The brisket nachos were really good! The brisket had a great flavor. My only complaint is that my husband’s brisket baked potato was a bit skimpy & the potato was hard in some places. Also I placed a to-go order that sat on the counter for 15-20 min before the waitress brought it over. Not too mention my to-go brisket fries were extremely salty. Good but salty. Overall it was a decent experience. We will give them another chance when we come back to Little Elm.

Tried this establishment out and it was very good. We called earlier just in case for reservations. The staff was very friendly and informative. They were playing live jazz which I always appreciate live music and the band was great. The vibe of the place was great. I really appreciated our server mentioning to us that they are a scratch kitchen and so it may take the food longer than expected to come out because everything is made from scratch to order. We didn’t even notice and I don’t think that it took too long. We also appreciated the owner coming out to greet his customers, that was pleasant to see.
The food was very flavorful! The special was the Lobster roll, which was so good. The lobster is served warm and it had a sweet lobster flavor and the roll was butter toasted which was delish. The chicken and waffle, which is what they are known for I believe, was also delish, the chicken was seasoned very well and was juicy. Unfortunately, this waffle was a little on the soggy side majority of it but it was still very tasty. The side of scrambled eggs were cooked well also and the fruit was ripe and sweet.
We would definitely drive out there again.

Our waitress Marisa was amazing, thank you for the great service.
We visited this much talked about restaurant today. We arrived right at 3p. Door was locked but the young lady opened it and let us in quickly. We were seated quite fast and drink orders taken. The sweet tea was too sweet. Maybe almost diabetic. For our starter, we had brisket nachos. They were so damn good! Definitely recommend. We ordered Shrimp Alfredo and blackened salmon for our entree. My side items included sautéed veggies and mash potatoes. The food was really good and flavorful. It was made to order and was hot!! Now let’s talk about portions and price. You definitely pay for your portion here. We had a bunch of leftovers but I was not upset about it. The scene and music was good also. I’m sure this place is popping when busy. We ordered cheesecake to go which was super amazing. Overall, we had a great time here and would recommend.

We stopped in this new restaurant on Saturday afternoon. The atmosphere was a little odd, as we were the only ones dining. The server was friendly and food came out quick. My husband had the brisket Mac and cheese. He was not impressed. It was flavorless and over priced. I had the grilled chicken sandwich. It was terrible. The bottom bun was so soggy I couldn’t eat it, the top bun crumbled into pieces. The chicken had no flavor, and the lettuce was slimy from being put on the sandwich under the hot chicken. The chicken was cut in pieces, which was not great for a sandwich. The pieces kept falling off. We love to try new restaurants, but this one is a miss!!

My daughter and I stopped for brunch today at decided to try something new in the area. We came to Savory Kitchen Bar around 2 on a Sunday, the place was busy enough but we were seated right away.
The server was friendly and had great follow up.
The restaurant has a decent ambiance but could deal with a little bit of love from a designer to take them to the next level. The entrance has a wood wall and the bar has a wood overhang, there is artwork in the wall for sale. They have drums set up in the corner and advertise music, I will be back for that!
I ordered the brisket burrito, my daughter had the french toast. Both very tasty.
They had music playing and switched off to the game, it was blaring and we did ask them to switch back to the music which we were happy they did. An interesting mix of music, to say the least.
I love seeing new restaurants in the area, I will have to bring my friends back soon.

My daughter treated me to @Savory Kitchen in Little Elm, Tx for a Valentine Day dinner and it is unfortunately I have to report the fish I consumed, gave me food poisoning. I contacted the restaurant the next day after visiting the emergency room to advise of what happened , and my complaint was dismissed by the lady (Dominique) who answered. I told her after visiting and eating their Sea Bass fish I began to feel nauseous and after a trip to the emergency room, the next day, I was told by doctors I had Viral Gastroenteritis which is just a fancy way saying It was from food poisoning causes from bacteria, parasites and/or toxins. I was not going to post my bad experience, until I was dismissed when I call the restaurant to advise of my illness. It would have been nice if they seemed a bit concerned about my health because now I am left to think this could possibly happen to someone else, or it has happened in the past.
I’ve visited this restaurant twice prior and the food and service was wonderful. Something in the atmosphere was wrong and the service vibes were off. We waited over an hour for our food to be tabled. In fact as I looked around everyone seated were waiting for their food to be tabled also. No one had food during this hour of waiting other than appetizers. The kitchen was eerily quiet. After waiting for over an hour our food came to our table. My Chilean Sea Bass and Mashed Potatoes were cold. I ate four bites and began feeling nauseated. I was unable to eat more so the waitress had it taken off our tab. My daughter’s steak was not cooked to order, medium well, it was almost rare so much blood and my granddaughters burger was also barely cooked, so they prepared a new steak (although it didn’t appear to be a fillet as she’d previously ordered) and burger. I did not like the fact they did redo the whole meal including side, because their sides became even colder while their steaks and burgers were being re-prepared.

So many people had hyped up this restaurant, so of course I had to try it. When I tell you that folks weren’t lying. Went on Sunday, we did not have a reservation and they were still able to clean off a table and seat us right away. The restaurant wasn’t crowded (which I’m thankful for with Rona still roaming free) and the staff all had on masks. The hostess seated us and explained that they were short staffed, but our server should be with us shortly. Our server made her way over to us quicker than expected and took our order. We had peach mimosas and the garlic parmesan wings to start. These both came out quickly. The wings were wonderfully fresh out of the fryer. The were crunchy and FULL of flavor, which a good wing should be. For our entrées, I had the fried catfish with Mac and cheese and a side salad. My husband had the fried chicken with mac and cheese and sautéed vegetables. We were both highly satisfied with our meals. Now on to the service…our server was the best, this young lady was attentive and very pleasant. She went above and beyond what I was expecting especially with them being short staffed. I mentioned in conversation that I was highly allergic to mangoes and was thankful they weren’t serving mango mimosas as a joke. Then I ordered a dessert that had fresh fruit in it, our fantastic server asked if there was mango in the mixed fruit and found out there was!!! She came back and told me she canceled my dessert order and offered me the chocolate dessert. H..O..N..E..Y…! When I tell you I’m glad I did! Whoever is creating these desserts has blessed and highly favored hands ! What more can I say, we will be returning on Saturday to celebrate my birthday…

Can’t believe this restaurant exists in Little Elm. Has to be the best kept secret. I moved from the east coast last year and have been looking for a place with good SEASONED food. Food was AMAZING and delicious! Great customer service and music was fun to jam to. Decided to visit on a recommendation from a Facebook group. So glad we did and will definitely return soon!

1st time, it came highly recommended by my daughter. The food was good, the service by Danielle was excellent. I tried the fried catfish, sauteed veggies, and mashed potatoes. My kids had Mac n Brisket, Blackened Salmon, and Steak. The owner was personable and friendly. The only drawback to me was how long it took to get our order.
