This place took me to heaven!!!! The fries were addicting – what is that seasoning. The chicken tenders were juicy, hot, fresh, and smackin delicious!!!! The waffles were like sugar on my tongue they just meltedddddd. The sauce was the perfect cheesy and light spicy vibe. I tried the mild and the honey butter chicken and both were excellent. My gosh!! You just know a place is perfection when you’re eating and you’re already planning your next visit. Trust me – do not miss this spot. I know I def will not, I cannot wait to be back! I loved it so much I immediately ordered more to take home to my family. I’m putting everyone on. I loved eating inside the restaurant – the food was brought to the table and decor was classy for a chicken spot – tastefully done! Lastly I need to give a big shoutout to the team working the night of New Year’s Eve – they made our night so special with their fantastic service and they even went above and beyond and took an additional take away order from us as they were closing. Thank you to the guys working for making the best food and providing the best service <3

They do what they do well in a classy environment. They aren’t a restaurant with full service wait staff but they do bring your food to the table after you’ve ordered it at the counter from their friendly and helpful staff. You get your own drinks and plastic ware. You find your own seat. Your second trip will probably be your favorite trip because you’ve figured out your heat level. I ordered too mild the first trip. The second trip I upped my game and was super happy with my buffalo style of heat. My partner has a higher heat tolerance but the first time over did it a bit so he lowered down one notch on the second trip. It’s a fun and classy looking place. I especially thought the ‘egg’ chandeliers were fun. It has bold and daring colors inside of black and red so those ceiling eggs popped out at me. Here’s a picture of what we had the second time for $33.86. One sandwich and one caesar salad and water to drink. You decide if that fits your budget range. Price is a relative thing. I will say it was very tasty and filling. I vacillated between a 4 star and 5 star but settled on a 5 star because of my very first sentence. They are a clever niche kind of chicken place.

My Fiancé and I stopped at Houston Hot Chicken, He is from Saginaw and I am from Lansing and we were driving by and saw this hotspot. We walked in and the atmosphere was amazing, we were greeted by Will, he was amazing and so welcoming. He was funny and was helping me pick a slushee drink. My fiancé got 2 tenders, a waffle and fries. He said this is by far the best food he has had. Will was telling us about the business and threw in some extras for us. Overall a wonderful experience and cannot wait to visit again. Thank you Will!!!

Tried the spicy sandwich with the tender fries combo and it was absolutely amazing. The spice level was just right and packed with flavor. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the food arrived in under ten minutes which was mind blowing. Easily one of the highlights from the US trip. Wishing for a branch in Canada someday. Montreal would be the perfect city to bring this experience to.

A great option! Fries have a delicious seasoning. Sandwich hit the spot. I got mild, even though I like spice, and it wasn’t spicy at all, lots of variety in spice levels to choose from, so don’t be scared that it’s too spicy.
Service was top notch and atmosphere was fun and cool. Recommend for sure. Looking forward to trying the salad next time.

Arrived at 5:00pm on a Sunday afternoon and was immediately greeted by the gentleman behind the counter. Had to run to the bathroom which were very clean by the way which is not that common in restaurants.
When I came back to the front my wife and son were in conversation with the guy about the menu. He was very polite and very thorough in explaining the spice level.
We all three got the sandwich and extra tender. For the spice on the tender, I got the second from the top called the lift-off. I had to stay conservative on the sandwich and went with medium spice.
Total was about $60 and some change. So about $20 per person which is fairly standard. We were given a number that you put on your table and they bring the order out when it is completed. While we were waiting I noticed that the interior is very clean and everything was orderly. Our order came out just under 10 minutes and it looked very good.
Now I am very particular with chicken, especially the texture and how it is cooked. If there is any kind chew to it it’s a dealbreaker.
The sandwich was very moist and cooked very well. The medium spice was not that spicy but had a good flavor. So far so good.
Now to the tender…I cut the tender into 4 pieces and took a bite. I was expecting an immediate burn but there wasn’t any. Now at this time the guy who took our order came over to ask how everything was which I really didn’t expect. Personal attention is hard to come by especially at a restaurant. I said to Bill “you know I was expecting more spice” he then said that was your first bite right? I said yes it was…immediately after I said that it hit me. The burn started and kept building and building. It was hot, very hot but not unbearable.
The personal attention turned into a very nice conversation with Bill. Myself and family especially my 13 year son had to say after we left “he was really nice”.
Oh and by the way if you like ice cream and waffles you have to try waffle milkshake. It’s a 13 year old approved shake.
We will definitely be back soon. That’s my experience so if you are ever in the Novi area and looking for a quality chicken tender / chicken sandwich stop in and grab lunch or dinner. Don’t take my word for it or any other review…go there and find out yourself.

Ordered an original sandwich (medium spice) and 15 nuggets (buffalo) . Flavor was amazing. The fries were amazing as well. Only complaint was a bit too much sauce on the nuggets. That’s just a personal preference. Staff was super friendly. Definitely will be back.
