Paneer dosa was 14.99 including tax and with out sambar. And was just shredded paneer. It was tasty but very very spicy.
Good luck guys.
Many people have already complained about the portion size, the takeout box is tiny put a spoon next to it and it’s obvious this is not enough food for a hungry adult.
Many are okay paying more for taste even if the portion is less, But right now, the taste does not justify the amount of oil or the price being charged.
this is not a one-time issue or a bad day kind of thing. It happens every single time. I have personally requested multiple times to add less oil, but that request has never been accommodated. If the food is freshly made, there is really no reason why such a simple request cannot be followed. When the same issue keeps repeating again and again, it becomes difficult to ignore and it genuinely affects the overall experience. I am writing this honestly because I actually like this place and want it to do better, not as a one-off complaint.
Absolutely loved the Gobi Fried Rice! The cauliflower was perfectly crispy and the rice was well cooked with great flavor. The spices and sauces were balanced nicely, making every bite delicious. Fresh vegetables and the crunchy gobi made it even better. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Indo
The Karam Idly was amazing! Soft and fluffy idlis mixed with spicy karam powder and ghee tasted absolutely delicious. The spice level was perfect and the flavor was very authentic. A must-try dish for anyone who loves spicy food!
They are using really cheap utensils and paper plates. There is no water available, you have to pay $1 for water bottles.
The plates they provide to eat in are so thin the food soaks them when you are half way through eating.
They are skimping on providing napkins too, we had to ask again and again. The plastic spoons and forks are so cheap they we’re going soft when touching hot food.
The taste of the food itself was decent but nothing else was good.
Seriously why are they charging exorbitant prices for no facilities, no service, no water, no napkins? You would eat at a decent restaurant with full service for less cost than here.
The snack items and chutneys were tasty and felt homemade, but the overall experience could be much better if they improve the portion sizes or lower their prices. Consistency in taste is also something they need to work on. I really hope they address these issues because, otherwise, the food itself is good.
For the main course, we ordered Andhra Chicken Pulav, Pachimirchi Chicken Pulav, and Double Egg Chicken Fried Rice — and every single dish was outstanding. The pulavs were aromatic, rich in flavor, and had that true Andhra-style spice level that we love. The Double Egg Chicken Fried Rice was delicious and tasted just like authentic Indian street-style fried rice.
As sides, we had Ghee Karam Idly and Punugulu. The idlies were soft, coated beautifully with ghee and karam powder, and full of flavor. The punugulu were crispy outside and soft inside — absolutely perfect.
Every item tasted fresh, homemade, and comforting — just like our mother’s cooking. You can truly feel the care and authenticity in every bite. If you’re looking for real South Indian flavors in Charlotte, this place is a must-try. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back again!
The Chilli Garlic Chicken and Pepper Chicken were next-level amazing! The flavors were bold, rich, and perfectly balanced — spicy, garlicky, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was juicy and satisfying.
For the mains, we had Double Egg Chicken Noodles, Afghani Chicken Pulav, and Andhra Chicken Pulav. The noodles were packed with flavor and had that perfect street-style touch. The Afghani Chicken Pulav was rich, aromatic, and mildly spiced with a unique taste. The Andhra Chicken Pulav had that authentic spicy Andhra flavor that we absolutely loved.
We also tried the Chicken Kheema Dosa — super crispy on the outside and filled with flavorful, well-seasoned kheema inside. It was simply delicious!
Every single dish tasted fresh, authentic, and made with care — just like homemade food. The quality, taste, and consistency were excellent. If you’re looking for real Indian street-style and Andhra flavors in Charlotte, this place is a must-visit.
The palav was fresh, aromatic, and cooked perfectly. We also ordered a plate of punugulu, and they were soft inside, crispy outside, and paired perfectly with the freshly prepared peanut chutney — such a delicious combination!
The keema dosa was super crispy and packed with flavor. Every bite was satisfying and well-balanced.
Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and made with care. If you’re craving real Indian street-style flavors in Charlotte, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended!
Gobi Fried Rice was very tasty, Ghee Karam Dosa, paneer dosa and Bajji Mixture outstanding
