I feel bad for the hard working employees and patient customers. From parking to walking out with food to-go in hand, it took 45 minutes… We waited about 10 minutes standing behind one other couple to order before waiting the 35 for it to be made. We ordered the pork belly banh mi and crispy tofu spring rolls with tofu fries and a Thai coffee. It seems they were getting and prioritizing pick up orders over in house orders. Understaffed maybe? To the food: it was very delicious. The sauce that came with the tofu fries was my absolute favorite, I could probably drink that stuff… The peanut sauce for the spring rolls was kinda mid eh. The watery fish sauce wasn’t bad but not my future pick. The Thai coffee was great, bold. The tofu fries were maybe half a blocks worth and the texture was great but they were nothing without the tasty sauce. Overall we’ll be back but will most likely place a to-go order 45 minutes prior to arrival.

The banh mi here is pretty decent and the baguettes have a nice texture too. That said, the waiting time can be a real test of patience. On my first visit, I waited about 30 minutes for one sandwich and brushed it off as a busy day. On my second visit, it stretched to 40 minutes, and I could feel the frustration spreading among other customers. I genuinely felt bad for the cashier, who seemed to be doing everything from taking orders to helping out in the kitchen. Overall, the banh mi itself is solid, but the long wait makes it hard to justify coming back.

My husband and I are visiting from out of town. I was looking for a place for lunch a little different than what we normally get and found this place. It was SO GOOD. We split a pork banh mí and a spam and egg spring roll. The spring roll was massive and the flavor combo was elite. The sandwich was delicious and very fresh. If I lived here, I would eat there all the time.
The people working in the restaurant were also so sweet. It was a really enjoyable experience.

First time ordering after hearing great things and it did not disappoint! I messed up our offices order and had to come back later to get my food (pictured) and the chef re-made my food fresh. It was so flavorful, fresh and the staff & chef were so kind! Great customer service! Will be back again soon!!

By this place after doing a hike, looking forward to trying out the baguettes. Not disappointed in the food or the service. The baguette was crunchy like you would expect. As a protein I got grilled chicken was just delicious. we also got the grilled pork rice bowl, which was also easiest delicious. Definitely we are gonna return.

We love this place, great food and service was friendly. It does tend to be closed frequently which is unfortunate, we’ve attempted to go get food on several occasions because we’re craving it but it has been closed. It’s a drive for us, but always worth it. Food is very fresh and flavorful..overall excellent. We’ve tried almost everything on the menu. The kids like the avacado smoothie for something sweet after. Highly recommend, just double check they are open.

Sandwich was not bad, but something was missing. The bread was fresh. Good size portion. The coffee was good. Tried the tofu fries and was surprised how good it was.
Overall not bad for local Vietnamese sandwich shop. Will go back.

Is it legal for a fast food place menu that has no prices listed? Could it be the owner wants to hide the outrageous prices?
I came here because I saw the rating is 4.7. I should have checked the reviews. This place must have raised the price recently. A sandwich is $16. We ordered grilled pork and grilled beef vermicelli bowls for $14/$16. Black ice coffee $5. The greens are fresh but the meat is overly grilled, burnt dry and tasteless. Definitely not worth the price. I’d give a better rating if the food tasted good.

Jalina hooked me up with the sauce! Ginger sauce was fire – so as their peanut sauce!! I loved the grilled beef Banh Mi. Had a nice fresh off the grill flavor and the pickled carrots and daikon was fresh too. Viet iced coffee could use fresh condensed milk. Such a worth spot to check out.

Tasty with real avocado! The owner is amazing and wonderful. Let’s support local business. This business owner is such a hardworking man. He learned his Banh Mi skills from his legit Vietnamese friends in Garden Grove and brought them here in Palm Desert. What an awesome guy! He even makes his personal sauces! I love the mushroom sauce poured on my banh mi. I had that the last time. BEST BANH MI IN TOWN.
