I had been looking forward to eating here. One time earlier this year I stopped in for a Bloody Mary and checked out the menu and read good reviews.
I finally made it, big work oayday afforded me a dinner out and served to me. I went on a Thursday and ordered the Philly cheesesteak. It was kinda dry, but I dipped in the au jus and really only softened the bread.
So, before ordering the Philly I debated on the French onion soup and or Walleye.
The fries that came with my Philly tasted like fish, maybe walleye
I really wanted prime rib but they only serve that on weekends. Watch what you wish for. Anyway, that’s why I ordered what I did, was in the mood for steak and a treat.
I was a little let down.
My guess is that the Philly cheese steak might be left over (dried out) prime rib from the weekend before , used for sandwiches by Thursday. And that they maybe had only one deep fryer they use for fish and fries. Even if I am wrong, that’s what it tasted like to me.
I will go back and try it again because of all the other good reviews, but wouldn’t order the same again. As far as recommendations, I might not invite a friend or treat my kids till I try another time or two. It wasn’t cheap, fyi, the prices on the restaurant menu are higher than the menu you see online.
Overall I rated them a generous 4. It wasn’t horrible and I’m a spoiled steak eater with maybe higher than average standards, if that’s a thing

We stumbled on the Side Track Bar & Restaurant and what a great place to stumble! The walleye fingers are tender, fresh and delectable! The cherry burnt tips were the bomb, the mashed potatoes and gravy were divine and the duck wontons were so tasty! The pot roast & gravy was also absolutely tender and amazing! Emma was a wonderful caretaker of our meal. The ambience and lighting is nice and great they had a goid sound track! Not too loud, but nice vibe. Definitely give it a try!

Spent Valentine’s Day at The Side Track and it did not disappoint! The place was busy, as you’d expect for the holiday, but our server Natalie handled it like a pro, attentive, friendly, and kept everything running smoothly even with a packed house.
I went with the French dip and sweet potato fries, and honestly, both were fantastic. The real surprise was the caramel dip that came with the fries — absolutely incredible and something I’ll be craving again soon. My partner ordered the walleye and loved every bite.

Had the prime rib at Track Side Bar and Restaurant and it was absolutely delicious! Cooked perfectly, tender, and full of flavor. The atmosphere was laid-back and welcoming, and the service was excellent. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and craving a great meal!

This place is great! The service is always quick and friendly. Plenty of parking. Environment is fun and clean. The French dip and French onion soup were delicious and served hot. This will be one of my go-to restaurants when I’m in the area. I highly recommend checking this place out

So fun! Bar atmosphere! My daughter loved her Beer Battered Walleye and my macaroni and cheese was delicious.. that’s saying a lot cuz I make a great mac n cheese!
We got a half order of cheese curds ( my daughter lives in Denver and does not see them on the menu). They were a disappointment… we love cheese curds.. but there were like 5 or 6 very small ones?? Not the best, but okay!
