I have been to this restaurant many times and have had a good experience every time. The staff and owners are very kind and good at what they do! You are always met with a smile and high quality food! If anyone has any issues they are always happy to help fix it. I have never had any issues with either the 2mit togo or the regular stand. I personally recommend a hotdog with onions.

The food is just as good as it always was, and now you can catch them all over the state sharing their delicious treats! A true treasure of Northeast Iowa. Everytime I get there the meat is tasty, the buns are super fresh and the onions are sweet and uniquely delicious the way they are cooked And now with 2MIT Mobile, Elkader is not the only destination for this great burger, brat or hot dog. Come also to meet the great team who are always having fun. Don’t forget to ask for the special mustard!

Well im sad to say but this place has completely lost its touch the quality of beef has plummeted yes its still the same but the burger itself tastes terrible anymore the flavor is still amazing I will say but the meat itself ruins it anymore they started doing a new food truck and now multiple times of me going ive had a bad experience halfway thru the day and they were completely sold out today they were in monona and the event on facebook says 11-6 they left at 2 yes it was a little chilly but it is the end of October and then next month supposedly they will be at fisks? Maybe for an hr or 2 guaranteed. ALSO one thing that I would really like to mention is the reviews mainly on facebook whenever you delete any negative review or comment… of course its going to show you have such a high recommendation which is super shady and why im leaving a 1 star here. Freedom of speech is a right whether you like it or not.

2 MIT is an Elkader staple! I am glad someone was able to bring it back. The staff is always friendly and if the burgers aren’t your thing you can always get a brat or a hot dog! The only thing I wish we could see in the future is a box of french fries to share with the family. But if you are craving that in the meantime I recommend looking up TD’s and putting in a couple orders of large fries to go.
