What a find !
Cajun cuisine that is very well done.
Discovered today in a strip center at corner of Coit and Campbell- Richardson
Started with a bowl of gumbo. Shrimp and sausage with authentic dark rue base.
Very good taste.
Appetizer was boudin balls that were soft inside and crunchy outside.
Large fried shrimp basket came with 6 perfectly fried shrimp, fries, and hush puppies.
Warm beignets were a nice way to end our meal.
Service was attentive
Music enhanced the dining experience with toe tapping tunes.
If you are looking for a spot to sample good Cajun fare, come here.
See you there!

We stopped by this afternoon. The atmosphere was very nice. Soft good music was playing. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. The service was great. The food was even better than expected. The serving sizes were appropriate. We will definitely go back because I forgot to sample their gumbo. One accidental discovery was their sweet tea. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was actually sweetened the way our grandmother would have made it.

Great food, great service. Nice location and fast service. Hayden was great and helped with ordering and was extra friendly. I saw her give the same type of service to everyone who came in. Food is exceptional, you can’t go wrong . Last visit when Glanced in the kitchen and noticed it was an all female crew that day so the food was EXTRA delicious that day

I really enjoyed this place. I just happened to stop as I was leaving the nail shop next door and I’m so glad I did.
I got the $15 French Quarter Special and it was delicious!! The catfish was fried hard with good season. The Étouffée was seasoned well and I enjoyed the gumbo as well.
The hushpuppies, the toast, the bang bangs shrimp were so good!! Definitely coming back!
And to add they have COMPLIMENTARY DAIQUIRI’S!?! Yeah they got my vote!
Heather the GM is FANTASTIC and Ethan provided great service!!
Really really please with this place.

They have BOUDIN BALLS!!!! IYKYK… Everything was delicious, well seasoned and fresh. When you can’t fit your Po’boy sandwhich in your mouth… then you know it’s real. And for dessert, Banana pudding , key lime pie and beignets!!!! The kids finished their shrimp baskets. They even have special family size orders/meals and daily specials. Aside from the flavor of the food the staff was most gracious and I was truly impressed by the amount of take out orders that were being picked up. We will definitely be back and we’re wondering why we waited so long to try them. We definitely missed out all these years.

I’ve found it extremely difficult to find good Cajun food in DFW, and before today, had only found 1 other spot I’d return to. Every bit of what I had was as good as something straight out of NOLA. And this is the first time I’ve ever seen gator on a menu in DFW. 10/10, 5 stars and 2 thumbs up.

This place is amazing. The staff is so friendly and accommodating treats you like family. The gumbo was so good perfect portion. The pasta is good as well. May be a tidbit spicy or seasoned for some but its the way I like. This is hidden gem. Check it out.

TLDR: Unexpectedly great food, fair price
The food was amazing. I had gotten the fried crawfish tacos. little bit of tomatoes green onion and topped off with their bang bang sauce. I will say the location isn’t exactly a popular square, but this places makes it worth coming out for sure. For the haters, yes, it may not be “original cajun” but for the people looking for good food, good price, and lovely staff. definitely come check this place out.
p.s. minor gripe is that they only have one bathroom which might be a problem if they get busy. but otherwise, food is flavorful and the portions are fair.

This walk up, friendly restaurant reminds of the mom and pop seafood places we used to have in Baton Rouge. The catfish was fried perfect, not too thick or thin and silver skin completely removed. The shrimp were also good and were not rubbery or fishy at all. Okra and boudin was a hit for the table. Catfish poboy was well dressed and served on Gambinos french bread (iykyk). The shrimp etouffee, while I only got a bite or two, was very good. We will definitely be back.
