Wonderful staff! Great flavors! This is a great local ice cream place you should try! The bubble waffle was a great spin on a waffle cone. Some of the unique flavors are worth sampling!

First time in, Hailey was great giving us input and letting us try a couple flavors. It was great they had an appropriate kid size for my 5 year old. I settled on the Jack Sparrow flavor and it was fantastic. Full of flavor, but kept light enough that it enjoyable to the last bite. 10/10 would ice cream here again.

Their Sinfully Chocolate flavor inside a coffee-lover’s cold brew… delish!! They had a cute seating area with games and children’s books, plus a lovely covered patio outdoors with chairs. Bonus was lots of room for our toddler to run around outside without as many cacti as are found basically everywhere else. An overall wonderful experience!

I came here thinking I’d get “just one scoop”… but clearly that was a lie I told myself. The ice cream is so creamy and flavorful that it’s impossible to stop at just one thing. I tried the bubble waffle with ice cream and it was amazing warm, crispy waffle with cold, delicious ice cream is basically the perfect dessert combo.
The shop has such a fun, welcoming vibe and you can tell it’s a family-run place that really cares about customers. Everyone was super friendly and patient while I took way too long deciding what flavor to get.
If you’re anywhere near Catalina or Tucson, do yourself a favor and stop here. Just be warned… you might leave already planning your next visit like I am

Best ice cream shop I’ve ever been too! They always have some unique flavors to try every time you come. It is fun to explore new flavors! Their bubble waffles are the best and a fun addition to the ice cream!

Very interesting. This was my first visit to Licks. From the highway, it was hardly visible. We missed it and drove past. The shop is located between two buildings.
The servers seemed very invested in giving quality service.
There were options for specialty flavors of homemade ice cream, as well as the standard vanilla and chocolate. Besides a variety of toppings to choose from, a fresh, soft, bubble waffle could be selected to go with your ice cream.
It seemed a bit pricey, but the results were satisfactory.
Indoor and outdoor seating was available. The outdoor area was covered by shade sails.
There seemed to be a steady flow of customers with usually a brief wait. It was a friendly casual atmosphere.
The parking area was dimly lit. There also appeared to be well lit parking in the rear of the building.
We plan to return. Carlota’s Authentic Mexican Restaurant is across the highway from this Licks location. Licks would be a great place to get dessert after a Mexican dinner.

Licks ice cream located in Catalina is the best! The Vietnamese ice cream is a favorite! And if you don’t feel like ice cream they have great coffee lattes and more! The owner and the staff always provide exceptional service and a friendly vibe. They will even cater your event! I love supporting local businesses and this is one you won’t want to miss!

So amazing! My partner and I went to Licks today. This place is wonderful. I had one of their house made ice creams- Oregon Black Cherry, in a waffle cone. It was divine. My partner had a different flavor that was also creamy and delicious. He also had a latte. I took a sip. It was perfect. They also have Vegan ice cream. Their house made flavors change daily. The service area and indoor seating were clean and bright. The service was great. Will definitely go back.

My family and I were treated to some ice cream from Licks and it was a delicious experience for all of us. This isn’t easy because we have dairy and gluten intolerances but Licks knocked it out of the park! They provided excellent customer service as well. Whether it’s on the way, out of the way or in the neighborhood Licks is the place to go for awesome ice cream!
