I hadn’t had a fish fry in a while and went here for dinner last night. The place was packed with people enjoying dinner together. The owner greeted us at the host stand and got us on the list for a table. I ordered the baked cod, tater tots, and a side salad with ranch. It was all very delicious. The flavor of the baked cod stood out and is why I’m leaving this review. I loved it and hope others looking for a great Friday fish fry spot consider trying out this restaurant in downtown Okauchee Lake, WI!

I met a few buddies at Kick Switch on Saturday night. 3 of us had the steak special and it was PHENOMENAL. Everything was cooked to perfection, the food was delicious, and the service was top notch. As a bonus, it was the first meal I’ve had in a while that felt like a great value. I highly recommend Kick Switch if you’re in the Okauchee area.

We had came in for a late breakfast on a Sunday. The menu had a number of options that looked good.
Service was a little uneven. We got the strong impression that we were bothering the bartender by being present. The food came out quickly though and it was very tasty.

This is a cute little pub and grub kind of place. We arrived early and sat at the bar. The bartenders were friendly and offered good suggestions. My friend ordered a smash burger and I ordered a chicken wrap. It comes as a sandwich and when I said I didn’t want the pretzel bun the wrap was suggested. The bar tender explained that it may be easier to eat since the sandwich is sloppy. I did like that idea.
The restaurant is small and all on one level. There is a patio area in the summer that is nice.

It was my first time at Kick Switch Bar & Grill. The food was decent and the Christmas atmosphere was great, but the service was quite slow. It took quite a while to get our orders in. Also, the place was very loud, which made it hard to hear or have a conversation. Maybe it wasn’t the right time or the right day. However, I am about second chances and will give it another shot.

This is a DESTINATION! We were there on a Friday night around 5:30 and Joe met us at the door with a pleasant greeting and enquired if we were there for dinner? He ushered us to a cozy spot at the bar telling us Laura would be right with us to get our order. The Whiskey (Whisky) pours are AMAZING! The food was AMAZING! The service is and was Spectacular! This spot has some history too ask Deedee or Joe to fill you in! Again this is a Destination because it was so delicious and delightful worth the 1.5 hour drive.

Here twice inside of a week & both experiences were good. Servers are attentive & friendly. First trip we had fried bluegill & grilled shrimp. Fish breading is light & flavorful. Fish was cooked perfectly & it was a lot to eat. Grilled shrimp were blackened as requested & they have the distinct fresh crunch which I like. I’ve had this here many times and it’s always very good.
Returned last night and we both had Patty melts of which my wife is a bit of a connoisseur. The Rye bread, cheese, onions & ground beef all exceeded our expectations and make this one of the best in the state. Only suggestion would be to add some noise reduction panels as it can be a little loud.

Visited with friends, nice bar. Decorated nicely for Christmas. We ate dinner, food was good, service was mostly good but they were busy. No issues, just hard to get the attention of our server. Will be back for sure!
