The food was so tasty! The wings were fire. The ramen was silky and flavorfully. The goyza was average. The rice bowl was awesome.

This is based on a to go order. I used to frequently get food from here to go. Today was the first time in a year and wow am I disappointed. They changed their to go containers and the new one holds about half as much broth. I don’t even have enough broth for this to be considered soup, it’s more like wet noodles (see picture). On top of that the add on of pork chashu for $4.50 was one smallish slice. My extra half egg for $1.00 was smashed in a container it didn’t fit in so the yolk had oozed out everywhere. I know portions and the quality in restaurants has gone downhill but daaaamn! I won’t be back.

A previous diner said she had a bad experience here with the same item I ordered. So let me share my experience. I had the spicy sesame ramen and it was delicious to the last drop. There seasoned ground pork was delicious in the soup. All of the ingredients and the flavors felt balanced and excellent. The broth was absolutely delicious and it was spicy, but not too spicy. I really enjoyed my meal. The staff at the bar were friendly and accommodating and I highly recommend!

Better cider selection than almost any San Diego restaurant! I had a great raman, and great HONEST staff. They forgot my extra protein but brought it out without me having to ask. Also not bad in price either! Great first date we will definitely be back some day!

Food was below average to be honest. We got 2 bowls of tonkotsu ramen and a ground pork on top of fries. The fries were average, the meat on top was kinda dry but the sauce saved it. The ramen is little disappointed, the broth is not rich and flavorful enough for a tonkotsu ramen, Pork Chashu was really dry, the egg was mid. The Service is great, the place is clean. This good for locals but for food taste can’t compared to other ramen places.

I used to love this place, but they just suck now. Every time I give them another chance, they mess up my order or do something foul. My final straw – i ordered the spicy sesame ramen and paid for extra carnitas. The ramen is supposed to come with ground beef. When I tell you, they sprinkled ground beef on it as if it was parsley. It wasn’t even enough for a spoon full. How did they think that was okay? Then, the side of carnitas that i ordered, was packaged in a huge bowl, and there was literally just a couple of shreds of carnitas. It’s so disappointing in this economy, you go to a nice spot, pay for a meal that’s not cheap, and they don’t even have the decency to give a normal amount of protein that I’m paying for! I won’t be coming back here again

The ramen here used to be very good. It still is good in fact, but the up charges for eggs, proteins have definitely made the experience less enjoyable. Worse are the wait times when eating at the restaurant. While they prepare and finish up 6 takeout orders, dine-in customers just sit there and stare at the wall for 30+ minutes. Especially, when it is not busy and less than half of the seating is occupied.

The restaurant should reprioritize their customers and not let them wait so long.

We always come here. Close to our house. Server didn’t take our order right what we asked for. We went on happy hour. Always different people work there We never see the same person. We had the Korean fried check. Burnt and they use old oil. Nasty tasting. After complaining the server never came to give us our bill had to there 30 minutes. Then had to ask someone different. It was not that busy when we got there. I have to say service and food not great any more going down hill since the new year

Food good as always, it does seem like the amount of food keeps getting smaller though. I can’t say anything bad about the atmosphere but the waitress had a bit of an attitude and when we paid and gave her a tip seemed ungrateful. Good food but take to go.

Tajima Ramen in San Diego offers a consistently delightful dining experience for ramen lovers. With several locations across the city, including Convoy, East Village, and Crown Point, this ramen spot has become a staple for both locals and visitors alike.

The highlight of Tajima Ramen is undoubtedly its rich and flavorful broths, which cater to a variety of tastes. Whether you prefer a hearty tonkotsu, a lighter shoyu, or a spicy miso ramen, there’s something to suit every palate. The noodles are perfectly cooked, with a satisfying texture that complements the savory broths.
