Very cool outdoor Summer Tavern/ Restaurant in Erie, PA. We stopped on the motorcycle for lunch during the last few days they were open. Sarah the server was friendly & pleasant, and the food was awesome. We will be back next year for sure!

Outdoor seating only but it was pretty comfortable as most seats were in the shade and food was pretty good. It took forever to come out though. Crab sandwich was good and so were the apps (we got fried pickles and a mixed app with zucchini fries and fried cheeseballs as well)

Friendly, comfortable and yummy food. I wanted the soft shell but not on a sandwich so they gladly accommodated me and added it to one of their salads that is not on the menu. One of the best soft shells I’ve ever had and the salad was good. Nice place to sit, relax and look over the water.

It was my first time to Woody’s Backwater BARge. It was a beautiful walk next to Lake Erie. It’s an open air bar with a great maritime setting. It was late on Friday so it was not crowded. The service was fantastic and the staff was very friendly and professional.

First time here today. Went for the entertainment (casual, Key West style musician), which was great. We ordered some food and were pleasantly surprised! Perch tacos = perfection. Slaw, fries, appetizers were all delicious. My cocktail was the Wobbly Worm and hit the spot on this summer night. The service was friendly and very fast. So, I rarely find myself giving 5 stars on all three Google Review categories but this was easy. We can’t wait to go back.

We did not have any food, just drinks. It was fun, great service, and beautiful views of the lake and downtown. Drinks looked fantastic and tasted “ok”, made from mixes and nothing fresh that we could see. There is only outdoor porta potties so that kept us from staying longer than 1 drink. Great place for a pit stop on a stupendous Day Drinking Tour lol!

Woody’s Barge was a really fun spot for a drink on the Bayfront. I can’t speak to the food since we only got drinks, but the setting is great and the service is good too. Only gripe was the bathroom situation was kind of bad. Only option was a porta potty, had to go next door to rum runner’s for a real bathroom.

Woody’s is a nice restaurant at the Erie Bayfront. You can see the lake & yhe Bicentennial Tower while enjoying your drink and/or meal. I had the chicken tenders basket & fried zucchini, pickles & cheese balls appetizer. Everything was very good! They have a Hawaiin beer that I really enjoyed! My server was wonderful too! I will definitely visit again!
