Sakuma sushi is incredible. The sushi rice is perfectly cooked, quality of the fish is fresh and portions are generous. Outstanding food. Awesome chef and top notch service. Loved the chirashi bowl and premium nigiri set. Definitely coming back for more!

My recent visit to Sakuma for sushi was a solid win. My order included the Spicy Tuna Roll, which delivered a nice, balanced level of spice. The Saba Nigiri was excellent—the mackerel was tender and had a perfectly tuned marinade. The Crunchy Tigar Roll was an unexpected standout; while I wasn’t sold initially, it won me over completely after a couple of bites.
I grabbed my food to go, but based on the pleasant atmosphere I saw while waiting, I’m making plans to return for a sit-down dinner with my wife soon.
Given the quality of the food and the fact that Sakuma is right down the road from my new home, I’ll absolutely be relying on them for all my sushi and Japanese food cravings.

Originally opened by a Japanese gentleman, and his recipes are still being used.
They have a lot of authentic Japanese meals and sets (定食). They have a lot of sushi and seafood as well.
Everything was very delicious. It definitely feels like there is an authentic Japanese touch.

Small place that we found after our original plan fell through. It was quiet and the best sushi we’ve had in a long time! Highly recommend the Alaska roll. Service was speedy and they were so nice.

An excellent location close to Mukilteo. Small restaurant with super friendly staff. Busy, but not crowded. Fast service made it easy to order one or two at a time at an enjoyable pace. Crunchy Tiger Roll, Monster Spider Roll, and House Special Roll were absolutely delicious.

We went there for dinner. We went there before and wanted to give it another try. The food was great. We ordered the salmon teriyaki and chicken teriyaki. Salmon was better.
The negative side is that the service was not pleasant. It was so slow. We had to wait at the door for about 2 minutes until we were greeted. Once we got the menu, it was another 8 minutes until the server came to take our order. Even though we raised our hands repeatedly, they just ignored us. Based on our observation, there were 2 servers, 1 sushi chef, and another chef in the kitchen. Once our orders were taken, it was another 5 minutes to get the miso soup. Then another 10 minutes to get the food.
We finished the food in about 10 minutes. We were there for almost 40 which were mostly waiting time. Doubt that we would go back. Weighing between food and service, we would choose friendly service over food.

Awesome customer service, got my food out quickly, and of course DELICIOUS plates. I had the curry udon and a specialty sushi roll and it was A+. Tastes just like it was from Japan.
Server and back of house were extremely pleasant and on top of everything.
Also fairly priced! I’ll be back. And you should try it!
