Upon walking in I received a warm welcome . Y’all know I’m big on customer service ❤️. They were playing Luther!! That set the mood for me to order my pizza . I decided on cauliflower crust with plant lovers on top. Y’all know I been trying to manage the diabetes and high blood pressure so this is a real treat. Y’all they have something for everyone!! They have meat lovers all types of seafood, vegetables and vegan cheese!!! They have wings and salad I hate to report that the floors were a little unkept but it was only one Pizzaiolo so she was stretched thin. The tables were clean. My pizza tasted amazing . There is plenty of parking it’s easily accessible and just a cool vibe. I came here for lunch and I dined in. The Pizzaiolo was so sweet and ensured I was enjoying my experience that really made me feel valued! The service was fast and I was so busy vibing to Luther the 5 minute wait was enjoyable ❤️ I will definitely be back!!!
I forgot to mention they are givers of a great cause that everyone deserves to eat!!! How awesome is that!!!!

I stopped by BurnBox Pizza on a Thursday afternoon after leaving work early for a wellness appointment. My son’s daycare happened to be closed that day, so we linked up with his godmother for lunch. I gave my toddler a few options — Chipotle, CAVA, honeygrow — but in true toddler fashion, he wanted pizza. And not just any pizza… VEGAN pizza. As a mom of a child with allergies, finding solid vegan kid-friendly options is no small feat.
We initially considered other spots, but nothing hit right until we found BurnBox in Kettering. It’s located in a shopping plaza with plenty of parking, and the minute we walked in, I noticed a sign offering a free Plain Jane pizza when you download their app. You already know I paused entry to grab that deal.
The interior is bold and modern — black, white, and red décor, floor lettering that reads “Good Vibes Only,” and an open kitchen where you can watch your pizza being made fresh. The staff was friendly, greeted us immediately, and helped us with our order.
We ordered the vegan “Plain Jane” for my son and “The Godfather” pizza for the adults. Total was $23.44 before tax/tip. I appreciated the extra touch — once the pizzas were ready, we were asked if we wanted additional toppings. I added some Old Bay to ours and oregano to the vegan pizza.
My toddler loved his pizza so much he prayed over it mid-bite and almost finished the whole thing. That says a lot!
Midway through our meal, I decided to try the wings — 8 wings for $11.49 (half buffalo, half honey lemon pepper). The buffalo wings were my favorite — crispy, juicy, oven-baked, and flavorful without being drenched in sauce. The honey lemon pepper was more of a dry rub but still tasty.
Final thoughts:

The guy was nice enough. A little confused taking order, I feel bad saying that. I am an easy customer. Unfortunately he decided to charge me for seafood scampi pizza and I ordered vegan. The difference in price $12.60 to $20. I was charged $40 for two $12 dollar pies. Not sure if it’s a bigger issue than an honest mistake, but be good for goodness sake.

So excited to support a black owned business & the pizza is GREAT! I really enjoyed the BYO pizza. But the issue I had is that they only had ONE person working the entire restaurant and it ain’t the first time that has happened clearly! Shoutout to Fatima for being so patient with the customers. She was running the online orders, the walk ins, and being cashier. That’s CRAZY and DANGEROUS for a young woman to be working the night BY HERSELF. Doing everything by herself! The owners should really be ashamed. Please make sure if you tip the workers tip cash or send it to them directly too!

This is absolutely my last time trying to eat here! At this point just take the vegan option off the menu. After the first time I tried to purchase a vegan pizza I was told they were out of vegan cheese. Never received the complimentary pizza from some that reached out to me about that. Anyhow I digress. No vegan cheese again today. I had to settle for vegan cheddar. I placed my order online and arrived a few minutes before pick to be informed by what appears to be the only person working that he was just about to call me to tell me they are out of vegan cheese.

First time visiting this business. There are a lot of choices. Although the staff seemed a bit impatient with the fact that we didn’t instantly know what we wanted. We got two build your own pizzas.The customer service wasn’t the best, but I will be back. It’s a good additional option with healthy choices. Additionally, I realize they are just getting started and we are looking forward to hopefully seeing them improve.

I built my own pizza with spicy sauce, spinach, shredded mozzarella, smoked Gouda, chicken, bacon, red onions, jalapeños, green peppers with basil pesto, pizza seasoning (oregano and basil) and some garlic oil on the crust. 20/10
Buffalo Wings were good and very saucy but I would’ve liked them to be cooked a little harder. 9/10
Oh and if you order online on Mondays, you can get a plain Jane pizza for $5 and each additional topping is $1.50 (which if there are a bunch of toppings, it would definitely add up).
