We were visiting Lake St Clair looking for some good comfort food, we found the place. Sunday we had chicken, greens and Mac n cheese. It seems like Grandma was cooking up a storm in the kitchen. The food was delicious and definitely hit the spot. After church let out around noon the place was definitely filling up. It looked like a local favorite!

Very disappointed in the food. There were 3 of us. First time eating there and our last.
1- Pot roast, mac & cheese, dressing.
2- Baked chicken, collards, black eyed peas.
3- Fried pork chop, dressing, lima beans.
The m/c was way too dry, collards, peas & beans tasted like they were canned.
Drink & roll included. $45.62.
Also had to go from table to table to find a salt shaker. Tried 3 pepper shakers before I found one that had some pepper in it. Did not see a health inspection sheet posted.

Delicious! Everything tastes exactly like it should taste. I had the best barbequed chicken I’ve ever had, along with rice and gravy, broccoli casserole, and a cold glass of southern sweet tea. I have a happy tummy, and I’ll definitely be back.

Tried to eat there today, keyword TRIED. I just walked out because the older lady at the front had a stank attitude. And by the way there isn’t much selection at all. I wouldn’t even consider this a cafeteria at all.

Southern Delight Cafeteria is THE BEST! The food is always hot hot. The squash, green beans, mac & cheese are as good as your Mom’s. I even ate every bite of the broccoli and I usually don’t even like broccoli. Will always go here if in Eatonton.
