My wife and I ordered General Tso’s chicken and Sesame chicken, respectively. What we received was General Tso’s breading and Sesame breading. We took a handful of bites after sensing something was off, and as you can see in the picture (or rather, can’t see) – the chicken is non-existent. In addition to this, even the breading tasted as if it had been re-fried. Under no circumstances would I ever describe what we attempted to eat as freshly cooked. At best, it was fried, leftover in the fridge or freezer, then re-fried and served to us. Every single bite was inedible. It’s not an exaggeration to say that I’d be surprised if they used even a single chicken thigh between the two full orders.
Based on other recent reviews, it seems like this is not a rare occurrence. We ended up taking the food back and refunding the entire order because it was genuinely just inedible. If I order sesame chicken, you need to include the *chicken* part. At least there was no pushback on the refund. Their demeanor felt like they knew they were caught and called out about what they tried to serve us. With Chinese restaurants already being a fiercely competitive market in the KC area, we won’t be back.

Order of seschuan chicken was a pile of onions with little to no chicken. In the entire meal were three small pieces of chicken and some bits. Absolute rip-off.

So we ate here a very long time ago so we came to see what it looked like after all these years. So the buffet it gone, the seats are limited. It looks like they mainly do take out.
So I tried the pineapple chicken because it sounded good. It was not. It looked like it was boiled. It tasted slimy. My husband switched meals with me. He got the beef and broccoli which was real good and they gave us some plates.
We didn’t realize they had a lunch meal until after we started eating. So next time I would probably get something off there. The spring rolls were good.
If you plan to do takeout, it is pretty easy and I think they do uber eats as well.
I gave it low stars because I did not like the pineapple chicken.

I ordered orange chicken tonight. It was terrible. I threw it in the trash. They gave me a huge order but I simply didn’t want to eat it. The restaurant must have been sold again because the food is so different from the last time I ordered there.

This by far my favorite place. It is located near Westport/Ku Med. I always doordash or go pick it up. It’s delicious and worth the money that this one time we ordered doordash and my food was stolen! The car arrived to the house and never got out (they left with our order! They denied it even though we have cameras haha) so we had to reorder 🙂 We go at least twice a month.
Update: We ordered takeout last week and everything changed. We got less portion sizes and they raised the prices. We were given a crab ragoon and egg with our order and that no longer is an option. The food was also not good—we were disappointed honestly. It tasted old like it was made hours ago.
